About This Item

  • The metal frame is treated with a non-toxic multi-layer hammer-tone coating to help it stand up to rust, corrosion, scuffs and scratches, making it paw-fect for indoor and outdoor use.
  • Crafted using welded, reinforced steel, so it’s great for rambunctious dog’s, too. The frame offers plenty of ventilation and visibility and the 2 locks help keep your pup contained.
  • Ships partially assembled, so all you have to do is screw the parts together. Other locks have been pre-loaded.
  • The removable plastic tray catches fallen dog food and excrement and it slides out for easy cleaning,
  • The 360-degree wheels allow for easy portability, while the included locking casters allow for stationary stability when needed.

Can two dogs fit into one cage
Answer by ChewyJun 21, 2022
For the safety of your pet it is not recommended to place more than one pet in a crate.

How far apart are the bars?
Answer by ChewyFeb 24, 2022
The vertical slats spacing on both crate sizes is about 2 inch. The floor slats spacing is about 1 inch.

Measure twice, order once

I think it's a strong cage for an indoor only situation. I wouldn't expose it to weather or water. It loses a star because I don't like the tray/base design or the hasps. I might have ordered the wrong size but it's too large to return. FedEx delivered it to my door, but I feel terrible because it weighs 100 lb. It's easy to assemble if you use masking tape to hold the sides up while you line up the top and insert the bolts

Heavy Duty

This crate is heavy and heavy duty. If your dog can destroy everything, like a hurricane coming through the Atlantic, this is the crate for you. This is indestructible and heavy. You are not going to move it very easily unless you install the wheels. This giant dog home won't be thrown in the back of your SUV, but maybe a truck if your husband is a body builder. It does not collapse and fold away, so you are stuck with it being a part of your house (we have embraced it). You will need a crate pad otherwise your dog could be very uncomfortable. An indestructible crate pad, if your dog is anything like mine. Also, if you have smaller dogs, they enjoy the bottom trap door to keep the big dog out (sometimes needed during dinner time). Don't question my dog parenting, it works for us. My little ones try to see how much food they can throw between the bottom bars so you are forced to pull out the bottom trays and clean them. I give this crate 10 stars after dealing with many other crates.
