This is great, except the paw pad issue

This is one of the best crates i have ever owned. My friends come over and say "Your dog is in a hotel!!". You need to watch the spaces beneath for their paws

This is one of the best crates i have ever owned. My friends come over and say "Your dog is in a hotel!!". You need to watch the spaces beneath for their paws but I simply took a blanket and a little dog bed she already slept on and there are no problems. I wish there was a faster way to lock the doors up as well.

Wish I could give no stars!

There is no way this em is meant for a large breed dog of up to 200lbs. I would barely keep my Australian Shepherd in here for much less a Labrador or anything bigger

There is no way this em is meant for a large breed dog of up to 200lbs. I would barely keep my Australian Shepherd in here for much less a Labrador or anything bigger. You better back em in because they won’t be able to turn around and yes I am talking about the large! I am very disappointed in this and don’t see how it could be returned or exchanged. If you have a small breed dog it would give them room to move around but like other reviews have stated the floor slats and matching side slats can be dangerous for claws and toe pads. Read the bad reviews first!

Perfect with some DIY tweaks

Im giving it 4 stars because I went into this purchase prepared to make tweaks. I read the reviews about toes getting stuck and dogs ripping through the MDF panel

Im giving it 4 stars because I went into this purchase prepared to make tweaks. I read the reviews about toes getting stuck and dogs ripping through the MDF panel on the bottom of the door and was hesitant to pull the trigger, but this is one of the only “furniture like” crates that is made primarily of metal, and so I thought to myself “those seem like easy fixes” — figured we would buy it and make some tweaks. We have a pocket pitty that will likely max out at 50 lbs and so the Large crate is perfect for her. To make sure her toes don’t get stuck and she can’t chew through the door we purchased hard wood for the bottom of the crate, and cut a plexiglass like plastic for the door and installed it over the MDF panel. So far no issues, and it cost us maybe 30 bucks to make those tweaks. Plan on making her a dog bed to fit the crate dimensions. Honestly, if the manufacturer made tweaks to address the floor and door issues, this would be a 5 star product.

The holes in the base are NOT a good idea ! My 70 pound 9month old puppy got his toe stuck in one of them. It was very traumatic for him ! Do NOT buy unless you’re

The holes in the base are NOT a good idea ! My 70 pound 9month old puppy got his toe stuck in one of them. It was very traumatic for him ! Do NOT buy unless you’re going to have something flat to lay down that the dog won’t move out of the way. I’m thinking of gluing sheet metal to the underneath to try and prevent this from happening again.

Paw pads stuck

Dog paw pads can get stuck in the grate on the bottom of the crate. For safety reasons I don't recommend this crate.

Great crate

Well made, strong, and looks like a piece of furniture.
