Heartbeat battery lasted a long time
Used with puppy golden retriever from first night home on. The battery is well buried in the body but was easily removed to turn on at night and off during day
Used with puppy golden retriever from first night home on. The battery is well buried in the body but was easily removed to turn on at night and off during day. Puppy never even tried to get to it. Battery eventually died after about 4 months of nightly use but the snuggle toy itself still goes to bed every night with a now almost nine month old puppy.

It made the transition much smoother and helped my dog settle more quickly. The Brown Mutt design is cute and well made, and the toy has held up nicely with regular use. I highly recommend this for puppies or dogs that need extra comfort during stressful times.

WORTH IT!
When we brought our puppy home, we used this for every crate/nap time and he would fall asleep on top of it. He still snuggles it even without the heart beat feature

Perfect for my 10 week Havanese - she sleeps with snuggle puppy in her pen area and in her travel carrier. She is now 4 months & I have continued using it. I bought 2 so she has one in each location. The battery is easy to change & lasts a long time - I keep the setting on constant heart beat. She goes and lays on it or near it all of the time and goes right to sleep. I will continue to use it for now.

We got this plush for our golden retriever puppy for her first night at our home. She took a few days to warm up to it, but slowly, it became her bestie. She brought her everywhere, sometimes to toss her around violently but mostly to snuggle her. Then this week (at six months), she bit off her tail. We thought maybe it was a fluke because the fabric had been so worn, so we decided to buy her a new one to replace the damaged one. But then on the new one, she ate the tongue and was working on the tail within minutes. All this to say, I think this product worked well for settling our puppy in, but it's not meant to last forever. We wish we hadn't bought the second one, because we just flushed $40 down the toilet, so I hope this review saves others from doing the same!
