What is the backing of this mat made of? My floor is carpet and I don't want water to soak thru

This mat features a no-slip backing however it is not waterproof.

It’s says non -skid backing. Is it rubber backing? Would be helpful if you had a picture of the back

This mat is too light and thin. It doesn't stay in place and when it bunches up my dog grabs it. Maybe for a very small dog or hamster?

This is a good sized mat. She's a sloppy eater and drinker so this will hopefully keep the mess to a minimum on my floor. Not the most exciting colors, tho.
