Great for dog with pancreatitis
Our 3 year old small dog has had episodes of pancreatitis and we have tried several foods. This food has agreed with his sensative stomach. He and our other dog seem to enjoy it with no problems.
Great Low Fat Option
My dog had a pancreatitis flare up June 2022. We bought a large bag of rx food (super expensive) and tried another brand that didn't work before trying this food. This food has worked just as well as the rx food for my dog and while the price has gone up significantly, it's still cheaper than the rx options.

This food is great bc it’s low in fat and the ingredients are limited. I love this for our pittie who’s been battling pancreatitis almost two years. We left science diet low fat for this and she’s only had one flare up since and that was bc our toddler fed her human food. Little upset the price has jumped $20 but I’ll stick with it for now
Great food!
I purchased this for our over weight German Shepherd and it really has helped her slim down. Bad hips have slowed her down and the pounds added quickly, so this food has helped me better manage her weight. She loves the taste too.

My dog has done amazing on this kibble!! I hope they never ever stop making it. My dog has very specific dietary requirements and this is the only food that checks all the boxes!
Good Food But Major Price Increase
This food has worked well for my dog with stomach problems. I have been giving it to her for years. I'm really disappointed that the price has increased by $20! It's crazy. I might have to look for something else.
Great for pancreatitis dogs
My 13 year old dog developed pancreatitis and we had to switch him to a low fat food. This formula is one of the few OTC formulas that has a MAX fat content of under 10%. It also doesn’t bother his tummy even though he has a sensitive stomach. Would recommend to anyone with a senior dog or anyone needing a good low fat food.
Great food
My 6 yr old dachshund just got diagnosed with pancreatitis. I asked my vet which food I should go with. She said hills science diet prescription dog food because it's been scientifically tested and proven to help dogs with pancreatitis. The vet office wants $50 for an 8 lb bag . I did some research and read reviews on this food. My dog likes the food and I like the quality of it. So far so good, he hasnt had issues with it.
Price up $18 IN 1 MONTH!!
I have been purchasing this food for my dog that has to be on a low fat diet for about a year now. The price has always been consistent. I purchased this last month for $54.99. Now all of a sudden this food costs $72.99!! That is an absolutely OUTRAGEOUS price increase for a 30 day period. That's $18 more expensive!!! I am extremely upset about this and now I will likely have to find a different, more affordable food. This is ridiculous.
Very impressed
I had no idea my dogs would love this so much. I am duly impressed and am telling everyone I know. I have one dog who has not been eating much no matter what brand I gave him. Now both of them clean their bowls. Their stools look clean and firm and the yard is not full of multiple poop. Highly recommend this even if your dog is not overweight, as I have one that is and one that is not. Both are happy and full of energy.
