High quality food that is great for maintaining weight. I have a working cocker who is above average active, but slightly spoiled with having some extra snacks more frequently :) this maintains her weight very well to balance the supplemented snacks. I typically see the biggest difference about 6-8 weeks after starting her on this.

Didn’t work for my guy

I have a dog that has acid reflux so while he’s not overweight, he needs a low-fat food. This one is definitely low fat but something about the ingredients did not

My EPI Shepherd has been on this food for about to years. I buy the fish formula as he has food allergies also. All was very good until my last order. Wonder if the ingredients have changed. Diarrhea and orange colored stool. We did the bland diet 3 weeks, as soon as I added a 1/4c kibble to blend back, only 2 feedings and back to bad stool. We are going back to Wellness, his previous food. He was bored with it and thats when I switched to Solid Gold.

I decided to try this food versus the Purina One Healthy Weight my aussiedoodle has been on for years to see if it would help with his itchy skin. It's been about

I decided to try this food versus the Purina One Healthy Weight my aussiedoodle has been on for years to see if it would help with his itchy skin. It's been about 2 weeks and I would say there is about 25-30% less itching and paw/leg licking. He loves the food and so does our husky who dove into it when I initially bag lol. Husky does well on Purina One Weight Control and it's about half the price so will keep him on that. Going to continue to see if my Aussie doodles allergies keep getting better on the Solid Gold, maybe will something grain free if not. I just said have not found a dry dog food that is for weight control and also poultry and grain free.

My dog with pancreatitis needs to stay on a low fat food. I looked at all the prescription diets and the ingredients were not what I want to give my girl, plus they were ridiculously expensive. After much searching, I found Solid Gold. The fat percentage is what our vet recommends and the ingredients are good without fillers like corn and wheat. Our dog loves it, too!
