Follow the feeding chart above (we recommend splitting this into two meals per day). Feeding amounts are guidelines only and may vary based on activity level, health condition, life stage, and temperature. Additional foods, treats and chews may alter this balance.
Feeding Kittens, Lactating & Gestating Females:
Kittens start eating dry food before weaning. Feed free-choice before and after weaning. Pregnant and Lactating females should be offered at least two to three times more food than shown in the table.
Transition Instructions
Switching to any new cat food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 to 7 days until your cat is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.

Cats love this but one cat had really bad skin reaction
My cats loved this food, it was their favorite healthy dry food ever. But it caused a really bad skin reaction in one of my cats. He had cuts and scabs all around his face. They disappeared once I stopped feeding them this food.

Incredible cat food
My cats simply love this food. Instead of giving them snacks, I will give them a few kibble’s. Since I’ve been giving them Sold Gold their fur is so amazingly soft. I would highly recommend this food

Highly Recommend
After reading a ton about different foods, I made the switch to Solid Gold, and I am so glad I did. My cat is 13 years old and has skin/autoimmune issues and is supposed to have meds 2x/day. She becomes a raging hellcat when you try to give her medicine...and it became a major stressor for both of us. So I wanted to try something natural to help her instead, starting with her diet. After several weeks on this food, her inflammation has cleared up. She seems more content and happy, and that makes me happy. And I am no longer giving her meds! I will continue to purchase this food.

very smelly
My one cat kept on throwing this up, which then resulted in a trip to the vet ( ended up he has GI issues and could not digest this). My other cat liked it though but was weary at first. The smell is very overpowering!! Very fishy smelling
I ended up giving the rest to my rescue friend

My babies did not touch.
Read all the good reviews and decided to get this brand but 4 out of 5 of my cats would not touch it. The one that did eat it was getting an upset stomach from it. The kibble size was great and the flavor was pollock. We had such high hopes based on the reviews but it didn't work out.

Vet Approved
I shared the details I found under the question section, such as mineral levels and ph level etc with my vet. He was impressed that this info was listed. I have a cat that is super picky but needs a stricter diet. This fit the bill, and the cat likes it.

Do not buy this food...
I wanted to believe that cleaner ingredients meant healthier cats but thats not true here. After switching from Kitten formula to Solid Gold for my two cats, in less then 6 months my cat has developed bladder stones which will cost me $1,300 for surgery. This food contains spinach which is high in calcium Oxalates and certainly contributed to this condition. Other blends of this food do not have it, but in short, do not buy this food.

Best food ever
Hugo is a very healthy 9-year-old Siberian Forest Cat. Since he was 6 months old the only food he will eat is Solid Gold Indigo Moon. I have tried wet food, and other kibble but he refused to eat anything else. His niece Maisy, when she visits runs immediately to his food dish and chows down.
He has never had to have his teeth cleaned and has had no dental problems. He also does not throw up hair balls.
