Transition Instructions
Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold pet food for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold pet food over the next 5 to 7 days until they are eating a Solid Gold formula exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce any digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.

Where is this food manufactured and where are the ingredients sourced from?
Answer by • Jul 12, 2021
All of Solid Gold’s dry formulas and canned dog formulas are produced in the United States. This might include sustainably fished Alaskan Pollock, free-range venison from Australia, or farm-raised duck from France. They choose to source certain ingredients internationally because that’s where the highest quality of ingredients is for particular proteins.
Used this as a topper for my dogs dry food & she cleaned her dish!

Wish they liked it
I used to feed one of my dog (now deceased) Solid Gold Wee Bites, the company in my opinion is a great one! I really hoped my new puppy would like it. She's such a picky eater and won't touch it.

Dog liked it but...
After reading comments below about people finding MAGGOTS and mold in these cups, I can’t get myself to purchase them again. Not worth the risk. Yes my dog enjoyed them, but I would never buy again.

Picky Pomeranian
My dog does not like these -- I think they would be good for her, but she won't eat them. So sorry -- she loves chicken when I cook it for her (thighs or breasts), but for whatever reason, she lets the cats eat this for her.

Opened a case of dog food and it was full of maggots. It smelled horrible and was clearly rotten.

never again
Over time with this brand of food my dog had stomach issues and diarrhea. She just didn’t look healthy. I’ve switched to a different food and my dog is doing much better. I will never buy any solid gold dog food again
