I had previously bought the same "flavor" of the Solid Gold Puppy food but it now says it's out of stock. I had to change to this one that has 2 pounds less food but costs $7 more. I wanted to stick with this brand because my pup has done well on it.

My puppy can’t get enough of this food! He’d rather have a couple pieces of food rather than a treat!

Our family King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy just turned 1 yr old last week. She has been eating the Solid Gold Love at First Bark Puppy formula dry food mix since we got her at 8 weeks old. It has been great and her one year checkup last week was rated at excellent health and wellness condition. I believe a large part of this is the food she eats and the supplements she takes. Lilly is being trained as my wife new service dog. We have another dog Rusty he is a long hair dachshund that will be 14 in a couple of months. He also got his annual checkup with Lilly last week and the Vet said he is in the best shape of any 14 yr old dog he has seen in many months. We were introduced to our dogs diet and exercise plans with my wife previous American Cocker Spaniel service dog 18 years ago. Her name was Lucy and she lived to be 16.5 yrs and we had to put her down due that she went blind and was very hard of hearing. She was a faithful and reliable companion for my wife and we contribute her long life to eating the wholesome foods that Solid Gold manufactures along with the recommended supplements for their everyday needs. Additionally Solid Gold food products are hard to find in our area and when you find a pet store that carries them they do so only on a special order basis only, therefore receiving them are extremely irregular. Therefore becoming a member of Chewy has been a great blessing for us. It is also nice to get their discounts for a recurring monthly order and we don't ever need to worry about running out of food and other needs for the dogs.

Listen to your babies

So per the vet I was told to try this dry food. Mind you it's a good brand. Made my boys very sick though. Fortunately i had to give this to another family who needed dry food so it wasn't a waste. Their pup loves it

It is a Hit!

I have a 9 week old ShihTzu and she loves her new food! I wanted to upgrade from what the owner was feeding, so I chose Solid Gold Puppy food! I read up on the ingredients and liked that it was Grain Free! I even love the packaging! We are now a Happy Family! Thank you Chewy!

Advised against grain free

We just bought this to transition our cane corso puppy to a more affordable brand (came from Royal Canin giant puppy) but my veterinarian told me grain free food isn’t good for their heart health. I am going to search for an alternative Solid Gold but meanwhile, my vet advised I can continue feeding this to her as long as we add some cooked barley or brown rice to her bowl. 3 stars because the little heart shaped kibbles are cute and Seabrook loves the flavor. She gobbles it up so fast!

Picky Pup chooses Gold

We have a 10 month old pup who spent the first former months of his live traveling around the United States with us in our van. As such, we would get a different 5 lb bag of food which he would eat, with a bit of encouragement like cooked chicken or melted ghee. On the other hand, he DOVE into his Solid Gold meal without fuss bowl after bowl after bowl.
