My dog loves this

My dog really doesn't care for the dry Solid Gold but she eats it like it's Filet Mignon with this stuff on top of it. I'd absolutely recommend.

Even my picky puppy loved it

I typically mix some wet dog food in with my dog's dry food and Zelda will sometimes still nose up and not eat it. That did not happen with this Solid Gold Protein

I typically mix some wet dog food in with my dog's dry food and Zelda will sometimes still nose up and not eat it. That did not happen with this Solid Gold Protein Shred! The package was easy to open to spread the topper around the dry food. The topping looked amazing, almost like a chicken soup starter. All 3 of my dogs instantly started eating their food and even Zelda had eaten her whole bowl as quickly as my other 2. Love this food topper!

I recently decided to try the Solid Gold Pet Protein Shred with Real Chicken & Vegetables Dog Food Topping for my dog, Max, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. Initially, I was searching for something to add a bit of excitement to Max's meals without compromising on nutrition. This product seemed to tick all the boxes, so I gave it a shot. From the first meal, I noticed a significant change in Max's eating habits. He's usually a bit picky and sometimes leaves food in his bowl, but with a sprinkle of this topping, he devoured everything. The real chicken and vegetables in the mix are evident, and it's reassuring to see actual, recognizable ingredients rather than mysterious processed bits. The packaging mentions that it's grain and gluten-free, which is perfect for Max since he has a sensitive stomach. I've been careful about introducing new foods to his diet, but this topping has caused no digestive issues whatsoever. I have a very thin dobie that is very energetic so we have difficulty keeping weight on her. We put lots of bonuses in her dog food to get her to eat it all but this took the cake. She LOVED this topping and ate every last bit of her food. From the time the pouch was open both of my pups were going crazy. I love that it is healthy and made with real food and real chicken. This one will be a regular for us.

Compared to other wet dog food toppers I have tried, I like this one over a lot of others. Some benefits are that it works great for small dogs because the pieces of chicken are in little strands and not big chunks. This allows it to be mixed in better and not allow the dog to try and just eat the chunks. I would buy this again and recommend to family and friends. The only suggestion I would have is to make the pack resealable. I have a small yorkie and I wouldn't give her the whole pack at once since she gets a little food at a time.

We recently got to try some Solid Gold food topping and it was a great way turn a boring dry food dinner into something our dog went nuts for. Biggest selling point, I could actually tell what was in it, pieces of chicken, veggies, a broth. It was similar to chicken soup but thicker. Our dog crushed her dinner and licked and semblance of flavor out of her bowl when this was added. 5/5 will buy again!
