Solitude IGR is formulated to help reduce the number of flies on your farm.
Helps prevent house and stable fly larvae from growing in treated horses’ manure.
The tasty pellets are easy to add to your horse’s daily ration.

For best results, start feeding before fly season starts and feed to every horse on the property—you can continue to feed Solitude IGR after fly season has started.

Start Feeding SOLITUDE® IGR Early In The Spring Before Flies Begin To Appear And Continue Feeding Throughout The Summer And Into The Fall Until Cold Weather Inhibits Fly Development.

In Some Cases, Supplemental Fly Control Measures May Be Needed In And Around Paddocks And Stables To Control Adult House Flies And Stable Flies, Which Can Breed Not Only In Manure, But In Other Decaying Vegetable Matter Or Silage On Premises.
SOLITUDE® IGR Will Provide A High Degree Of Fly Control And Will Give The Best Results When Integrated With A Well-Managed Fly Control Program That Includes Appropriate Sanitary And Management Practices To Reduce The Number And Size Of Fly Breeding Sites.

Failure to follow directions and precautions on the label may result in poor fly control.
Feed the recommended dosage to each horse separately to make certain full ration is received.
This product is to be fed top-dressed on grain or mixed with the horse’s total ration to provide 300 mg (1 scoop) of cyromazine per horse per day or 600 mg (2 scoops) of cyromazine per horse every other day.
Start feeding Solitude IGR early in the spring before flies begin to appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather inhibits fly development.
Solitude IGR prevents the development of houseflies and stable flies in the treated manure from the horse, but is not effective against existing adult flies. *The active ingredient, cyromazine, is very insect specific. Cyromazine disrupts the production of chitin in the fly so the larvae (maggots) cannot develop into adults. Once the fly reaches adulthood, cyromazine has no effect on the chitin of the adult fly.

Excellent aid to a fly control program!

This supplement is great, keeps flies from breeding around the barn. Safe and effective, all of my horses get this daily with no digestive upsets.

We had a bad fly problem. Tried the flies that eat larva and attractant containers to no avail. Started this early spring and it is so much better. Yes we still have some flies, neighbors also have animals so you can’t get rid of them completely, but we haven’t seen any fly larvae at all since using this. We also put out attractant containers to get flies that come from other places. But they aren’t breeding in the horse manure anymore.

So the last 4 years we tried fly predators. It was ok. But then we tried Solitude and it worked great with 6 horses.

Must load for at least 45 days prior to 70 degree days or you will not be above to get ahead of the cycles. Stay on from March to October in Maryland.
