This the second time I've used soulistic cat food. This time I got the pate vs the shreds. The can is really sturdy. The pate was watery, I understand some cat parents

This the second time I've used soulistic cat food. This time I got the pate vs the shreds. The can is really sturdy. The pate was watery, I understand some cat parents need their cats to have more liquid, that's not a problem in my house. This flavor didn't have an overpowering smell like some other brands. I will say that the cats came running to it, oh lawd they coming style. They finished every morsel and looked for more. I gave it 4 stars because Im looking for more contents vs liquid in my cat food. I can always add water.

Since my older girl had extractions a few months ago, she has gone through phases where she doesn’t seem to want to eat much. This is an extremely soft pate that is easy to eat and apparently is delicious, so it always works to get her started eating again. I don’t give it to her every day, since I want it to feel like a special treat at the times she’s reluctant to eat other foods.

I have 3 senior cats, two of them are 16 years old and one 11 years old. Tried this first with my most picky eater Cookie, she finished the half can quickly and wanted more. The other two boys also have no problem finishing their plate. This pate has a looser and more watery consistency, more like a puree than a regular pate with plenty of moisture. This is a big deal because of my cats age I like to add more liquid to their food. Smells pretty good unlike some other cat food. This is also grain free with clean quality ingredients which I like. Will definitely purchase more and try other flavors next time.

I have 4 cats, each one with distinct preferences but all 4 enjoyed the Soulistic chicken and turkey Paté. I like that the first ingredients are chicken and turkey and that this specific paté is very wet. The amount of food in the can was enough that eat cat was able to eat without leaving any behind and I could tell they all liked it because they all ate their fill. With this food being so hydrating, it was easy for each cat to lap up and they didn’t struggle with trying to eat it.

Finding a wet food that 4 different cats will all enjoy can be difficult. Well, mine all went CRAZY for this wet food and gobbled up every trace of it. This pate is quite “soupy”, which is fantastic for kitties who need extra moisture in their diets. It’s easy to eat for seniors who might have bad or missing teeth as well because they can easily lick it up. It’s high quality, with lots of animal based ingredients in the list for our obligate carnivore friends. It’s also free of grains, gluten, and carrageenan for sensitive kitties.

I tried the chicken pate variety of this canned food with my 3 cats. They seemed to like it the first time I gave it to them, but after that only one cat would eat it. It is a very wet (high moisture) smelly food. I would suggest it if you are feeding a cat with an upper respiratory infection or as a treat but wouldn’t use it as a regular food

This food is not what I expected because the label says it's a pate, but it's really more like a puree. The first time I gave this to my cat he seemed very enthusiastic

This food is not what I expected because the label says it's a pate, but it's really more like a puree. The first time I gave this to my cat he seemed very enthusiastic and licked the bowl clean, but since then he will only eat a little of it before he walks away. The quality seems to be very good, I only wish it was a little more "solid." I'll probably continue to give it to him but use it like gravy on top of other food.
