This recipe is an adult formula. Though our adult formulas are not specifically designed for kittens, all are suitable for feeding, just not as the only part of their diet. If you choose to feed our adult formulas to a kitten, just be sure to feed them alongside kitten food to ensure your growing kitty gets all the nutrition they need. Kittens also need a lot of calories, so as long as a kitten is getting enough good calories, our adult recipes can be fed daily as part of the diet along with kitten specific food.

We got two new kittens in January. I am very particular about what I am feeding my cats. Originally, I went with one of the healthy brands but in a shredded form. They were not fans of the shredded food and so I went to find another food with the same quality but in pate form. BFF has lots of choices for pate flavors and it passes my strict healthy and safe guidelines. Mine enjoy all of the poultry, beef and lamb varieties. They aren’t fans of any fish foods. It’s been great seeing them excited to eat and cleaning their plates!

Cat owner beware! Opened this canned food to be met with a potent tire factory type of odor. No protein in this should create that sort of a smell (not even the strong scent of duck fat smells so industrial). Please recall this food! There’s something off about it. Other flavors and varieties with these ingredients are fine. My cat wouldn’t eat much of the little I offered (in case my nose was deceiving me), and he normally eats everything. What he ate, he shortly vomited up. I want a refund.
