Bought the 4-pannel gate for my kitten to keep her from going to the basement. The gate is extremely well made, easy to assemble and has flexibility with regard to size of opening it covers. It's heavy in the respect that my cat can't knock it over, but it's not too heavy for me to carry. The bars are spaced perfectly to keep a kitten from squeezing through. I highly recommend this gate!!
