Right out of the box, this became Toby, our senior dog’s favorite toy. He played with it for 15-20 minutes before letting his brother try it. Toby acts like a puppy while playing with it and then has the energy to wrestle with his younger brother afterwards. He especially loves the crinkle sound from the stuffing in Sponge Bob’s body. They did NOT skimp on the amount of stuffing. It is quite plump! He also loves the squeaker in the body. His brother is mostly entertained by chewing on the arms and legs. It seems pretty durable, as he chewed on the arms and legs for about 15 minutes straight with no signs of wear, but my dogs are not heavy chewers, so not sure how it would last with that type of pup.

When I put in the box and brought this out to my Irish Setter she was as happy as could be! She sniffed it all over and then spent most of the morning carrying it

When I put in the box and brought this out to my Irish Setter she was as happy as could be! She sniffed it all over and then spent most of the morning carrying it around. She is not a real “chewer” of toys So we normally have toys that might be several years old. But then I gave that same toy over to a young lab. He’s a heavy happy chewer without a lot of training, And his first thing to do was to start trying to rip it apart. I stopped him immediately. Then I gave the toy to our Mini Schnauzer. He carried it around and figured out how to squeak it. But same thing as the Irish, he didn’t try to tear it. Adorable toy.
