About SportDOG

Dog Training Gear for Every Season

It’s important that your dog’s gear is built to withstand the elements you face in the field. That’s why nothing from SportDOG gets into your hands without rigid testing. Whether you and your dog are doing daily water training in summer or breaking through winter lake ice for long retrievals, SportDOG gear can handle it.

How Do the SportDOG Models Differ?

Most SportDOG e-collars are waterproof and rechargeable and feature tone, vibe and static stim settings. The big differences between the models are collar distance range, number of dogs one remote can talk to, and remote type. Choose from remotes with features like OLED display or a tactile dial for no-look operation.

Leash attachment ring broke the first time my dog pulled against the collar.

Poorly made...and not for a "sport dog" that weighs in at over fifty pounds. I want my money back on this one!

After measuring the neck size of 27”, I determined that our large German shepherd needed the large size collar. Unfortunately it is too large, so the collar maker’s suggestion is WRONG. I have to put it on the 8th hole, and there are 10 more holes remaining (which is no problem) so I have to put two sets of rubber bands to keep the collar tucked in. The collar is still good. The appropriate size for my Shepherd would have been Medium.

Dog collar

It's a good collar, the holes are to small for the reciever. I used a drill bit to make them bigger.
