Meat Meal is made from taking slaughterhouse and fish processing factory remnants that are not edible for humans, and cooking them, processing them under high heat, and dehydrating them into a dry powdery substance that goes into kibble.

Quick question... is this version for dogs who live in an apartment... walks about every 2 hrs and an occasional zoomies?

Definitely worth the try

Not only does the bag last a long time (for a black lab), but it has definitely made a huge difference with managing his weight, and gaining muscle in place of fat

Not only does the bag last a long time (for a black lab), but it has definitely made a huge difference with managing his weight, and gaining muscle in place of fat (with the appropriate exercise). I’ve even noticed a change in his fur, it is not as dull and is much more vibrant and healthy; than it was when he was on pedigree. If you’ve been struggling to find a food that is great quality, non-calorie dense, for active pet dogs that struggle a bit with a lil extra weight? I’d def recommend to try this. It was super easy to switch him over, didn’t notice any upset GI symptoms during or after the switch.

Better packaging

My shipment was delivered half open. Depending on the angle you stood, you could see the contents in the box. After I brought the package inside I noticed a hole

My shipment was delivered half open. Depending on the angle you stood, you could see the contents in the box. After I brought the package inside I noticed a hole in the bag. The dog food has leaked out of the hole. This is the 3rd time I've gotten a poorly packaged shipment from Chewy. The first two times I gave Chewy the benefit of the doubt because the packages were still somewhat closed. This time was unacceptable!
