    Smells like rubber/plastic

    By on

The plastic/rubber smell is horrendous, however, my Labradoodle did and still does chew like crazy on it. He is not quite a year old and a very aggressive chewer. No problems yet. Apparently, the treats inside are good. The smell is the only downside. I hope over time that will dissipate.

Occupies for a long time, but the toy smells horrible

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I just received this and gave it to my dog. It's kept him busy for awhile now. He is incredibly food driven because he's on prednisone for Addison's disease and is always hungry so I thought I would try this. The one caution about this, is the toy material itself smells like gasoline. So much so, that my dog was actually hesitant to go near it at first. The smell of the material overpowered the treat rings so I had to pop one out with a butter knife to show him there was actually food in it. I would have given more stars if it weren't for the horrible smell.

    Starmark toys

    By on

My dogs love these and it keeps them busy longer than most dog toys. I have Border Collies, so I imagine they would last longer for a typical pup that isn't constantly trying to figure out how everything works. Unfortunately the replacement rings are hard to find and completely sold out on Chewy. Regardless, they haven't destroyed the toy yet, so thumbs up Starmark.
