Looks& Smells Like Chicken! Doesn’t Stink! Try It!

My schnauzer likes it a lot. I thought I might like it better if added vege or fruit but may change it for the worse. And I give that to him nearly every day anyhow. I will add a little bit of a grain that I eat daily, being a vegetarian who will only eat some seafood. He gets a little bit of that too. I had a vet I respected who didn’t like grains being fully removed. But they don’t want dogs mainly eating legumes (beans lentils etc) as dog food companies have been replacing grains & animal meat. Note: I had a schnauzer whose gut was a problem for life from Rimadyl and she got rinsed canned no salt garbanzo beans and blueberries every day and only her food and she did great. I swear by no salt (Eden) garbanzo beans (chick peas). Just never overdo it! No salt chick peas taste sooo much better than salted. I do mix it with Weruva canned food as I can often get it on sale or less expensive at a local Pittsburgh chain. It looks and smells like shredded chicken (and versions have beef and tuna etc). If you do give your dog a food you are eating, it needs to be a plain one or one you cooked with only seasonings safe for dogs. You can find info online about unsafe seasonings for dogs. I’m no expert, just have learned through too many bad experiences and corporate/private equity firm veterinarians (to whom the majority have been sold) are usually not your best advisors as the foods they sell are usually of a very low quality. Give it a try even if you use it in addition to your own choices or cooked food.

I received my Stella and Chewys Gourmet Pate Cage-Free Chicken and Salmon from Chewy’s Pawsabilities program. When I ordered it I missed that it was puppy food. My Cocker is just 3 years old, so doesn’t really need puppy food, but he very much likes Salmon, so I will share a bit of it with him. However, as it turns out I am awaiting the arrival of a new Great Dane puppy, so my mistake is a happy accident as this food will be perfect for him along with his kibble. I will happily share more of a review when my new pup is here and has had some time on the food!

This is AMAZING!

Having 5 dogs, 2 large and 3 very small it is sometimes hard to find a dog food that agrees with everyone.I add a little canned food to their dry kibble every evening. If I could give this canned Stella & Chewy's food 10 stars I would! Immediately after open the can the delicious smell of something I myself might like to taste. It's light in color, almost like chicken breast and is actually meaty feeling. This is one excellent canned food and I do believe I will be ordering in the future.

pleasantly surprised by this Stella & Chewy's Gourmet Pate Cage Free Chicken and Salmon dog food. my picky eater who tends to stick his nose up at alot of things sniffed the food and dug right in. I really like that when I read the ingredients I actually know what I'm reading. This is a high protein formula that is grain free. I used this as a topper for my dogs dry food to add some additional protein and vitamins/minerals to their food.

We received this product quickly. I began giving it to both my Coton de Tulear dogs right away as my female is a picky eater. I give them dry food and usually enhance it with fresh cooked chicken. I gave both dogs the Gourmey pate chicken and salmon and they gobbled it up. I then gave it to the with their next two meals of dry food and they devoured it! This will be a staple in their diet and I will change the protein every few weeks.
