About Stella and Chewy’s

In 1997, Marie Moody adopted a dog named Stella from a local animal shelter. She soon decided that Stella needed a companion and adopted a sick pup named Chewy, who joined the family and helped forge the company’s history. On the advice of a veterinarian, Marie began feeding Chewy a raw diet to help with his health issues. He quickly recovered, and both he and Stella thrived on their new food. The experience led Marie to pursue her passion for pet nutrition and start her own business—Stella & Chewy’s.

I actually mix this with the Inukshuk kibble. I swap between this chicken/poultry mix and the other proteins. I was advised to switch up proteins as long as they didn’t have sensitive tummies or allergies so their food doesn’t get boring. They always dive right in when their regular Innukshuk kibble is mixed with this kibble. I love the Stella & Chewy brand and mixing in their meal mixers or frozen raw morsels. Just be aware their meal mixers, dry dinner patties & dust are all the same product in different forms. Patties, morsels & dust. Just an FYI when pricing things things out :)

No raw pieces in the whole bag

I started with a small 3 pound bag of this stuff and my dogs loved it. There was chunks of freeze dried raw pieces in there, so I shell out the money for the large

I started with a small 3 pound bag of this stuff and my dogs loved it. There was chunks of freeze dried raw pieces in there, so I shell out the money for the large 21lb bag and there are NO raw pieces at all. This was a scam! They charge you more money for the formula that contains raw and when you pay for it, you don’t get anything. A 21 pound bag with zero raw pieces in it. This was a rip off. Stella & Chewy should be ashamed.
