How much does each small and large patty weigh please?

The small, frozen patties (in the 3lb bag) weigh about 1.5 ounces each, while the large frozen patties (in the 6lb and 12lb bags) weigh about 8 ounces each.

I am trying to feed our older, allergy prone shepherd less dry food, so finding these patties with good ingredients and calorie count has been a win. She loves them, whether fed alone or mixed with other food. Feeding is so simple, I defrost two at a time, and just put two more in the fridge when giving her the second. By morning, it's defrosted.

Tantalizing Turkey is RIGHT!

I thought I’d try my Wonder Dog (aka Daisy Mae) on these Tantalizing Turkey Patties from Stella and Chewy. It arrives Frozen and with this heat I immediately removed

I thought I’d try my Wonder Dog (aka Daisy Mae) on these Tantalizing Turkey Patties from Stella and Chewy. It arrives Frozen and with this heat I immediately removed it from it’s sealed container (full of dry ice) and placed it in the freezer. I was amazed that it was still frozen solid! These patties are Meaty… 4.5 inches wide by 1 inch thick. Thaw one (or more depending on the size of your dog) before feeding it to your dog. TIP: Easy Peasy Feeding Chart on back of package. Daisy knew something good was happening bc I was in the fridge, pulled out her feeding bowl and took a pic of her. She watched my every move. Daisy LOVES the Turkey Patties - as I knew she would bc Stella and Chewy only uses wholesome ingredients that ppl could eat. (I wouldn’t recommend it but if grocery prices keep rising I might consider it! LOL!) I think the last pic of her sums it up. Daisy thinks Tantalizing Turkey is DEEE-LICIOUS! This line of dog food makes me feel like I’m giving Daisy the Best of the Best and I feel good about it. I guarantee You will too!

Great Patties

I was surprised to see how big this bag was. The Patties are big enough to feed a 20lb dog. I have a miniature poodle weighting 9lbs, so the suggested size is 1/2

I was surprised to see how big this bag was. The Patties are big enough to feed a 20lb dog. I have a miniature poodle weighting 9lbs, so the suggested size is 1/2 patty. The bag says to defrost 4-6 hrs in the refrigerator, but honestly, I leave it 30 mins on the counter and its perfect. That said, after careful consideration, I decided not to feed my dog raw meat, he is small and I think for his stomach issues I rather cook it. I mix it with a bit or rice and carrots, my dog goes nuts and its enough for 2 days. I have noticed that when I feed this patties my dog feels fine, but when I feed him his prescription food (mix of dry/wet) he gets tummy troubles (gas mostly). So now I'm leaning towards cooking him the food with the aid of these patties. I can recommend them however you want to feed them to your dog, raw or cooked. Just make sure to add other vegetables or vitamins to it, so your dog can get the proper nutrition.

I didn't realize that this product was for a dog on a raw diet and I don't feed my dog raw food. I thought it was a turkey burger you could cook and add to your dog's kibble. However, you are not able to cook this because it contains bones which should not be given to your dog cooked. So my apologies for not realizing this was something I wouldn't use. I gave it 5 stars because I didn't want to give it a low rating when I have no idea how it is. However, it was a large quantity of burgers and looked very good. I just don't do the raw diet for my dog.

I thought great - they finally have a bigger bag of it which makes it cheaper. Instead I threw $60 out the window.

Up front, I will say my dogs love this food. It looks like turkey burgers and did not have the bad smell I associate with fresh dog foods. However, I was taken aback at the very heavy, very large box lined with Styrofoam insulation and full of bags of dangerous dry ice. All for one sleeve of this frozen dog food? It took a day and a half for the dry ice to evaporate in the desert sun! Two of the dry ice bags had split so that was fun to deal with, and to keep my pets safe from. I really hate the packaging-- I get the necessity but it seems so environmentally wrong, surely there is a more planet-friendly alternative.

I used these for the first time as a topper. The patties are very large so I used 1 per dog. I liked the consistency. The dogs have never had raw, but they were very well liked! It took a day for them to thaw. I only gave each dog half a patty since they’ve never had raw, just to make sure they didn’t upset their tummy- and they didn’t. I definitely recommend them. I bought the Tantalizing Turkey.
