I use freeze-dried liver as both a special training reward and as a food topper to entice my picky eater. I ran 1/2 the dried liver through the food processor to powder it for dusting kibble and left the remainder whole for use as training treats. They are a nice size, small but not too small, and unlike freeze-dried beef liver, are very "tender" and easy to break. They also don't have any of the connective tissue and occasional piece with a tough, papery dried membrane on it, making it excellent for processing into kibble dust as well. This will definitely be a repurchase and a permanent part of our topper and treat rotation!
Stewart Pro-Treat Turkey Liver Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Treats: Yes!

After discovering how much my 2 small dogs and cat enjoyed the PureBites duck liver, I went ahead and ordered a huge bucket- 11.8 ounces- of Stewart Turkey Liver. I am glad that Stewart carries these freeze-dried products in a value size. I like how healthy and high protein they are! I also like how excited my pets are when I treat them. I was beginning to think that only treats with hickory smoke flavor, salts and sugars would get them going... not so. Thank you Stewart, and thank you Chewy for taking the extra time to insure this product was shipped in such a way to arrive intact, and it did.
Dogs Love ‘em!

I use Stewart freeze dried treats as some of my “high value” treats. Very convenient. There’s different random sizes in the tub so nice for different uses and different size dogs. Not every treat has to be big when fed from the hand to make a big impact on the dog. The crumbs left when the tub is empty (about 1-2 Tbs) I sprinkle over their food. I buy the biggest tubs of Stewart freeze dried because per ounce they’re the best price and a high quality made in USA product.
A treat my picky dog LOVES

My puppy is a picky eater but this brand seems to know what he likes because he'll eat almost anything they make. These are another one of his favorite treats. I have gotten all different types (duck, pork) and he loves them all. I highly recommend trying these - just don't give them too much of it in one sitting because they look like they are very rich in nutrients. These are definitely treats your dog will be willing to give you some kisses for.
The top dog approves!

B. J. Poodle, my homey, had previously settled on the Stewart's beef liver treats, but he graciously agreed to try these turkey treats if only to humor me. After consuming a good handful, he judged that they were acceptable and asked for more. Now he comes promptly when he hears the rattle of the container as I go to get some for him.
The only shortcoming is the relatively large portion of fines, i. e. dust, probably due to rough handling in shipment.
P. S. The senior cat likes them, too. Of course, he's been known to eat a day old deceased mouse, so maybe his tastes are not that discerning.

My dogs love these! They go to the treat jar more often than they should. I will purchase these again and give them as gifts to friends that have dogs.
Review on dried turkey liver
on Dec 4, 2019
I decided to try this product, I usually buy the dried chicken livers and was always very pleased with them, the turkey liver, not so much. They have a strong odor which is not pleasant. I will definitely only buy the chicken livers from now on.

Quality control is too hit or miss for these to be worth listing price, get em for a bargain so you’re not TOO disappointed. Dogs and ferrets love em! If they arrive as dust use them to top food!

I was a little Leary of buying this due to the weight, but let me tell you this tub is HUGE! Easily almost gallon sized. Plus, my dog loves these! I used them as the "high value" treats for training.
