These are great quality and I like how the tub helps prevent them from turning to dust. My pups love salmon in general, and this is a convenient and easy way to give them a healthy treat.
My dog just loves this salmon treats. I had no idea until I brought leftover salmon home from a restaurant and gave some to him! After that he was hooked so to speak!!l lol
He enjoys it, but I am still looking for something that is salmon based and takes a long time to chew.
First off, both my cats and dogs LOVE freeze dried treats. I've gotten all varieties of Stewart's over the years. One thing I have noticed with recent purchases either in store or through Chewy is the serious decline in "edible" treats as an unacceptable proportion of the container is barely edible. By that I mean the the tiny chips and "dust". I understand that the nature of freeze dried treats makes it susceptible to breakage but it has gotten so bad with Stewart's that I probably won't buy it anymore. I have had better experiences with their products so I can only assume it's an issue on their end. That's not ok for the premium price you pay
Not sure why but out 2.5 yr old Golden mini doodle doesn't eat it at all. Had to give it to a friend.
He is in dog training and the smell gets him every time!
This product is very high quality and my dogs like the taste, however, maybe because it’s freeze dried, it is mostly powder and not actual treats. I ended up using it as a topper for my dogs dinners, which is fine, but defeats the purpose of using it for a training reward.
Most of the container contains sawdust. Very few chunks to be given as treats. Makes a great food topper, but that’s not what I bought it for.
We just purchased this, and it’s not cheap, and half of the bucket is dust. I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing because other people complained about it as well :( save your money
I purchased this for the first time and I'm glad I only got the 2.75oz tub because this is what it looks like. I just opened it!
