Great value for a much needed supplement

I was worried about getting a powder version of L-lysine supplement but the one cat of mine that needs It badly for environmental allergies stopped liking the treats version and gel version (another brand name for those) so, I decided to try this. The little scoop it comes with is great, the powder is kind of fine and you have to be careful with it when opening and closing. I put a dose in my Finley's wet food in the center and covered it. The first time, seemed like she may have tried to avoid eating that portion some, so next few times put smaller amount in and built it back up to regular dose of half scoop 2 times a day. Since then, she is eating that portion of wet food. I also try to put the gravy from wet food on top of powder before covering it with more food. Seems to be working good now with her eating it. I hope she continues as I need her to have this supplement. Therefore I am very happy with purchase!

My 12 yr. old cat PollyAnna had been sneezing, coughing, runny nose, and watery eyes for months (I think she got a resperatory infection from the vet in Aug. when she gone in for her check up, blood work and yearly shots, I think another cat might have been infected any either the vet or one of the techs. infected my cat) well I did extensive research online and it all lead to an upper respiratory infection (by the way my kitty is an indoor kitty doesn't go out at all) and the reports I read up on all said that L-lysine would help and seen that it cost $400.00 in Aug. for the vet I can't really afford to take her back and have another bill that large just yet so tried the L-lysine first before running to vet again. The L-lysine worked wonderful and she is doing great now with no complications at all.

Great for sniffles and sneezes

Using this product has greatly reduced reliance on prescription steroids to control the symptoms. Significant flares still need the prescription for a few days

Using this product has greatly reduced reliance on prescription steroids to control the symptoms. Significant flares still need the prescription for a few days. This appeals as the prescription is not healthy to take long term,

The vet recommended L-Lysine supplements for his eye issue. He doesn’t really eat his food when I add this supplement and the few times that he did eat, I didn’t really notice a difference compared to a different brand I’ve tried. Hopefully it works for everyone else’s fur baby!

I think it was ok

the cats didn't like if I put it on their cat food for some reason{on top } but if I mixed in their wet food they eat it.

To build the cats immune system.

One of my cats has had eye problems a couple of times. I give them this occasional to prevent sickness.
