Seems to be working great but could be challenging to feed to the pickier ones.

By fgalmiche on Nov 3, 2021

I have one cat with chronic URI, and this product has helped him tremendously. It took me about 4-5 weeks of consistent daily feeding to really start noticing that his typical URI flare-up symptoms (stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, yellow snot, watery eyes, etc.) were disappearing. The major downside is that my chronic URI guy will only eat this stuff if I mix it well into his wet food **AND** also HANDFEED the wet food to him. Sigh. He will not eat it on his own. Also, I have 6 other cats, and they will have nothing to do with this product. For this reason, I would normally deduct some stars. 0 takers out of 7 cats is just no good. However, because this product does in fact seem to work (albeit I have one cat with chronic URI, and this product has helped him tremendously. Cat enjoys, mixes with wet food well

By MidwestCatMom on Nov 9, 2021

We have tried numerous lysine supplements for our cat with chronic herpes resulting in goopy/runny eyes, lots of human-sized snot and boogers, sneezing, etc.. This powder smells terrible, but of course that means the cat loves it! We typically mix this in with a small can of Tiny Tiger wet food (extra gravy) and the cat is none the wiser. Can also sprinkle on dry food with or without a little water. This powder is finer than other lysine powders we have bought, and I think this helps with dissolving in wet food and clinging to dry food more so the powder isn't just left in the bowl when they're done eating.

So Sad - My Babies Won't Touch It!!!

By EdieK on Nov 1, 2021

Maybe it's just my 5 cats & kittens, but when I added this supplement to their food, they totally refused to touch it at all. I tried for a few days, but then had to stop as the last thing I wanted was for them to get even sicker from not eating anything. It may help others, & it may just be my babies, so I cannot say it doesn't work, but it didn't work in our home! Best of luck all!!!

    Good powder

By Meli on Aug 24, 2021

The powder looks a little grainier than I expected, but I mix it with wet food, and my cat has no issues eating it. His eye is definitely looking better. I am hopeful this product will help him fight off infections, since he was just prescribed an immunosuppressant.

    Saved my Feral Cat

By Tango on Jul 9, 2021

I have two Feral Cats living in my backyard that I have trapped and neutered -- I noticed one was having serious issues with the feline herpes virus - I really thought he was going to die and contemplated trapping him and doing the humane thing-- but decided to do a "Hail Mary" and sprinkled this on his food daily. I'm happy to say he slowly came around and is healing nicely.. Now I give it to my indoor cats and the "eye" crud in my old male cat has gone away. What a game changer! Thank you Strawfield Lysine Immune support!

Afraid to write a good review LOL

    By 4catmom on May 13, 2021

My cats seem to like this (refused to eat food w/other supplements) and it seems to work but I'm afraid to write a good review because it was out of stock, even the manufacturer ran out and I don't want it to run out of stock again!! Trying to find an adequate supplement was next to Impossible , the only one I found that came close was extremely expensive and from a competitor (LOVE CHEWYS CUSTOMER SERVICE so hate using the competition) I have 4 cats so finding a supplement they all like is almost impossible , even when it comes to lysine treats they don't like them. This and the expensive form was the only ones they all like. I highly recommend this

    So far so good

By Catmom on May 23, 2021

I’ve been useing this for 3 cats (rescues) lots of vet bills but could never get rid of runny eyes and sneezing. One week into the schedule I noticed a big difference. I free feed so I sprinkle it on about 3 cups food (2scoops) and that’s good for 2 days with my girls . The kitten food is 1 cup to one scoop and this is working for them. I know it recommends more but I’m seeing results this way .

    Happy kitties

    By lar830 on May 2, 2021

I love using lysine to treat and prevent goopy eyes in my kitties! And to protect their overall health / I’ve definitely seen a difference and a reduction in the number of sick-visits to the vet. That said, the other lysine supplements are the market are either fish or maple flavored or do not come in a higher strength (500 or more). I was so relieved to see that this item came back in the market. 900mg of lysine per scoop and chicken liver flavored - thank god! These brats of mine were turning their little goblin noses up at the other flavors. I later what juicy and delicious wet food I hid it in!
