T*H*E Stuff for dogs is a proprietary blend of highly functional silicones that are pH controlled, hypoallergenic and non-toxic. Those with sensitive skin should perform a patch test prior to use.
Do you wash this after applying or do you leave it on and towel dry the dog before brushing?

Mix 1 oz of The Stuff with 1 quart of water. Pour mixture over dog after shampooing and before toweling. The undercoat comes out easily and the product will penetrate tangles better than spraying.
Does this contain any synthetic fragrance? No ingredients are specified.

This concentrate does not contain synthetic fragrance. This unique leave-in hair conditioner and dematting formula is hypoallergenic and non-toxic. It conditions the coat and penetrates mats and tangles for a timesaving comb-out.
It's unclear what is received with order. Does the spray bottle come with both the 4 oz and 12 oz bottles of concentrate?

The 4 ounce and 12 ounce bottle does not come with the spray top. The 16 ounce does.

The Stuff is the real deal!

I tried the 4oz concentrate for the 1st time, it’s very easy to mix with water. I sprayed onto my curly haired golden doodles coat and let dry completely. I was amazed at how soft and easy to come through his coat was. 5 days later and he’s still incredibly soft. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming. Cuts brushing time down, and gives a “fresh from the groomer” look in between trips!

Tangle Tamer and Cleaner Longer!

I use this on my Golden Retriever after bath time and she’s never been softer! Really eases the pulling on her tail and ears. I especially love how dust and dirt repels so well, making the bath that much more effective. Love this product!

Great conditioner

We love this "stuff". Put it on after a bath and your dog will be silky and repel dirt for a little while. Haven't been without it for 30 years

Works on our Bichon

My girlfriend wanted to try it for our Bichons hair. It has worked very well when she brushes him out.

love the stuff!

I’ve used the stuff for my personal dogs for 6 months now with great results. I have short coated breeds (3 Belgian Malinois and a chihuahua) but this stuff really works!!!!! It keeps their coat soft and supple, but keeps them SO clean between baths! They’ve swam, rolled in dirt, got covered in grass, and they still don’t need a bath yet and I bathed them a month ago! Definitely recommend to anyone. I’ve also used on long coated breeds and it’s AWESOME for getting tangled and mats out. 100% worth it!

The Stuff grooming aid

I have used this product for years on my cocker spaniels and it helps with preventing mats. But you still have to brush at least weekly depending on length of coat.
