This gate will not secure small animals. The widths between the bars on this gate are about 2.75". We would not recommend this for kittens

Can I purchase the extenders for the beige wall mounted gate here? How wide are they?

At this time, they do not provide extensions separately for safety purposes as they do not recommend extending their gates past the widths they are intended for.

We got it to keep our daughter from going up the stairs. It looks great and easy to install. Previous people commented on the warning stickers not coming off. I haven't taken the one off the bottom yet, but the one the as t was an eye sore came off by scrapping it with my nail and then good gone. Far from easy, but not enough to detour me from buying again!

Purchased one of these gates to see if it was going to work and was pleasantly surprised at the quality, design and ease of installation. Very solid and looks great. Only complaint, which many reviewers point out, are the many labels stuck on the gate. They are ugly, unnecessary and difficult to remove. Had to carefully use a heat gun with a goo-gone product to remove.

Don't buy unless you like unsightly warning stickers, that are almost impossible to remove. Goo be gone, multiple applications and scrapping with a very sharp knife

Don't buy unless you like unsightly warning stickers, that are almost impossible to remove. Goo be gone, multiple applications and scrapping with a very sharp knife for 15 minuets, then some sanding and a little paint ah no sticker. I would have NEVER bought this gate if I knew it had a redundant warning sticker from top to bottom. The gate works fine but for a high end priced gate it's not worth the trouble.

Nice gate with issues

This is a nice looking gate and it worked well for my havanese puppy however the larger square holes at the bottom of the gate (that are decorative) are large enough

This is a nice looking gate and it worked well for my havanese puppy however the larger square holes at the bottom of the gate (that are decorative) are large enough for my puppy to stick her head through and possibly get stuck in the gate so my husband got heavy duty zip ties and put them around the holes to make them smaller (which doesn't look very attractive). However the company that makes this gate did not test it for small puppies or they would have known that the square decorative holes on the bottom are too big and a small puppy's head to get stuck. The other problem is that the latch at the top doesn't always close securely and my dog has been able to pull open the gate with her paw as she gets older so I can't leave her alone in the room with these gates when I go out for a few hours, I instead have to crate her when I go out so I know that she's in a safe place. The gates do look pretty nice though. They could be improved a lot. I do like the new feature where the hinge stays open so you can bring large items in the room and the gate stays open.

Dissapointed

I bought this gate to close out an area for my puppy and I should have known from the beginning this was not the right choice. Order took way too long to arrive,

I bought this gate to close out an area for my puppy and I should have known from the beginning this was not the right choice. Order took way too long to arrive, when it finally got here, the box seemed it was used like a 'piñata', tried to mount the gate with my son and the gate is kind of twisted and it does not closes or aligns to the door stop. The auto-close and hold-open features, key benefits that are mentioned for this item does not work, it has a huge space that makes it impossible for the gate to actually STOP and stay close. I am guessing this could be a manufacture defect, the gate only swings from one side to another, which definitely was not the purpose as I didn't wanted a bar door for my puppy to just walk through when I am trying to keep her in a specific area. Not recommending this product and looking forward to return it.
