Let me just say, Winona, the Longhorn, is not going to be rushed, unless she hears the sweet sound of Sunglow show cattle feed hitting the trough! She comes trotting

Let me just say, Winona, the Longhorn, is not going to be rushed, unless she hears the sweet sound of Sunglow show cattle feed hitting the trough! She comes trotting from the far end of the pasture, like she’s in the final round at the NFR! Now I haven’t been feeding it long enough to report on changes to her condition, but when it comes to palatability, Sunglow is knocking it out of the pasture! Winona and her Longhorn sisters used to line up for cattle cake like it was a Texas steakhouse buffet, but now? They’d bypass cattle cake quicker than a heifer, dodging a branding shoot. No contest. Sun glow wins! Every. Single. Time. And don’t even get me started on the calves, those little bull calves were trying to elbow their way in like it was a black Friday feed sale. I’m happy to share a picture of Winona posing next to the bag like it was a celebrity photo shoot! I’m pretty sure she’s expecting a feed sponsorship someday. Bottom line, if your cows are picky, or dramatic divas, like mine, give Sunglow a try. It’s pasture proven, and Longhorn approved!

seems like a good product lasted 4 days 5 calves

2 of 5 cows love this but 3 have barely picket at it . not enough to say much 3 of my calves barely touched it calves are in seperate pens to eat due to age difference

2 of 5 cows love this but 3 have barely picket at it . not enough to say much 3 of my calves barely touched it calves are in seperate pens to eat due to age difference and bullying. my bull calf loved it and would munch his down before i could feed the others my little Jersey girl the smallest also loved it the older calves seemed to just pick at it but non of them are grain fed so its new to them. i dont see much of a difference it wasnt enough time and not enough product but they all seemed to be ok with the food

We show multiple breeds of heifers and steers, so we have a significant amount of experience with multiple show feeds. The Sunglo Show Feed is a great quality feed that all of our show string loves to eat, especially our picky steers. It has just the right amount of molasses and sweetness with a good amount of ‘fillers.’ We would definitely purchase this feed again.

Affordable, not just for show cattle either

Had the opportunity to try out the Sunglo Show Cattle fee. We are feeding a Herford steer currently for private harvest. The steer went right to it! Right out

Had the opportunity to try out the Sunglo Show Cattle fee. We are feeding a Herford steer currently for private harvest. The steer went right to it! Right out of the bag it smells fresh. I can detect almost every ingredient in a handful. Moisture content is right on, not dry. The ratio of fat to protein is perfect and the texture is spot on. Sunglo has always made superior animal feed products. I have fed Sunglo products years ago when my kids were showing market hogs for our local fair. I liked the feed options then and this show cattle feed is no exception. If I was raising cattle for the local fair, I would feed this product.

Excellent feed filled with nutrition that supports muscle growth. My calf is doing great on gaining weight with this. She needed some weight after we rescued her. I know she loves the taste, because her head does not leave that bucket until every morsel is gone! Her coat is developing a shine after just a couple weeks of using this. Awesome product and the feed has so much variety and texture to it.

Overall like the feed, but wonder what the overall results would be over a length of time feeding this to cattle. Fed this to 4 heifers that are growing and a 20 year old pet cow, that get grain twice daily. Like to see less cracked corn. Moisture content was nice to add supplements to the grain & have it stick for consumption.
