Smells like spray paint

I don’t put anything fake in my aquariums due to toxic paints etc but I have these a try. I boiled them for 2 hours and I still could not get the spray paint smell

The statues are cute in my aquarium. I was very disappointed that they were not cleaned up after they were molded. They had rough seams and very rough areas all

The statues are cute in my aquarium. I was very disappointed that they were not cleaned up after they were molded. They had rough seams and very rough areas all over that i had to sand down. This is very dangerous for our fish. They can rub up against these decorations and cut their delicate bodies and fins!!! I see this quite often. Shame on you manufacturers!!!

Whenever I buy decor I always rinse it and let it soak for a couple hours before putting it in my betta's tank. When I checked on this Tiki statue after an hour, much to my horror it had an awful chemical smell like paint thinner. I've never had any decor items smell like this. I'm fairly certain this would have killed my fish if I put it in his tank. Strange because sungrow stuff is usually good.

I found myself pleasantly impressed with the Moai decorations. They've truly captured the aesthetic I'm aiming for in my tank. In terms of durability, they appear quite sturdy and ready for underwater duty. While they do sport subtle lime-green paint accents, I believe these hints of color only enhance their natural appearance in the tank. If you're inclined to keep them purely neutral gray, a bit of extra painting might be required. However, I personally find the occasional splash of color to be a charming touch
