KITTEN ALMOST CHOCKED TO DEATH!

If I could give this zero stars I would. The toy seemed harmless enough so I was shocked, scared, upset and shaking when my eight month old kitten starting choking

If I could give this zero stars I would. The toy seemed harmless enough so I was shocked, scared, upset and shaking when my eight month old kitten starting choking. While getting ready for work, I tossed one of them for him to run after. It was what felt like just a couple of minutes when I looked over from a few feet away and saw a completely different toy in his mouth. At first I thought, "Isn't that cute? He's carrying around two little toys." That cuteness stopped when he started to choke, unable to breathe through his mouth. Naturally, I went straight to him grabbing the toy that I could plainly see. However, I could not see the little mouth because it was lodged in his mouth. It all happened so fast, I'm not sure if they were caught up in each other or what. Note the knot on the tail which is string. The knot came undone and started unraveling (see picture). Regardless of how it happened, whether it involved the other toy or whatever, it never should have happened! Once I got is out, I immediately put together some wet food with water to make it soupy so he got some hydration. I was running late for work and flew out the door once I knew he was ok. It was so upsetting, I was shaking and starting to cry when I got to work. I know that some things that happen are considered "rare," but when it happens to your pet, "rare" means absolutely nothing. I'd already lost an eight year old cat to feline injection site sarcoma a couple of years ago. Look it up. You'll see it's "rare" but my cat died from it. So now, no matter what I'm doing with them, I make myself fully aware of "rare" and do all I can to prevent my cats from being one of the "rare" ones. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET NOW!!!!

THESE TOYS ARE A CHOKING HAZARD. My 5 month old kitty will NOT stop chewing on things, so I bought these mouse toys for teething (we always bought the other pack of mice that look very similar, except they have smooth tails). The tails on these are braided, so I figured they were tougher. I didn't have that package open for 5 minutes when I saw him from across the room pull the tail off the mouse and swallow it before I even realized what he was doing. I ran over to him and that is when I noticed he had already eaten the tail off of another one! I checked him. He was fine, and still is, but these are not safe toys. Funny enough, he still plays with the smooth-tailed ones with no problem.

Kitty goes Crazy!

Since I opened the package, Bobby hasn’t stopped playing with these mice. He walks around like a dog with it in his mouth.

Fun fun fun

Our senior cat loved these little mice. She rolls on her back, holding them and chases them too.

This is the first time she has played with a toy right away!

I thought the mice might be to small for her to play with, but she likes picking them up & throwing them around, like it is more her size. She likes the big noisy

Small mice

I was hoping for the somewhat larger mice but these are still mice that our cat plays with. Funny but my wife likes the little white ones. ???
