Changed Formula
We've been using this food for at least 4 years, recently something has changed and now the last 4 bags we've received all the cats (12) will not touch it. Chewy already replaced one bag at no cost, because I thought maybe it was damaged or stale or something, but nope, its been consistently disapproved by the furry overlords. Disappointed, as this was a great product previously.
Fed the strays and ferals
I really wanted this to work out for my cats. They tolerated it, yet one of them was throwing it up every time. She's never done this with any other food and is a good eater. She eats everything so I was very surprised this disagreed with her tummy. I fed about 50 cats twice a week so I mixed it into their food.
Fantastic Dry Food, high quality plus
Both my Cats were rescued from bad situations,so when I got them they were skinny, poor coat and unhealthy. After many trials and errors my Cats were thriving on Diamond Naturals Indoor Chicken formula. They gained weight, thick, plush coats followed and best of all they were happy, healthy and playing a lot. My Cats are picky eaters, but they love this, and purr with happiness all the time. Amazing transformation thanks to Diamond Naturals Indoor Chicken and Rice formula.
Alternate food
Had to find alternate catfood.The Blue Buffalo they had been eating for last 5 years was discontinued and they added tastefuls instead which my cats detest.My catfood started costing me a 120 dollars a month because of increase in feral cats in the neigborhood.So I tried diamond natural because my two dogs have enjoyed this brand for 5 years.It is comparable to blue Buffalo but way less cheaper and bigger amounts and they seem to like it as much as the old brand of blue buffalo.It has a slight decrease in protein which is subliminal and effects nothing.
My cats didn’t like it, gave it to outdoor cats
I attempted to mix a small portion of this cat food with my cats' previous food, but surprisingly, they consistently left the new food behind. As a result, I ended up giving it to the outdoor cats.

I was previously feeding Canidae Healthy weight tuna to my three cats. One of the three was overweight so I was trying to slim her down. They’ve been on it for a few months now and I noticed the “fat” cat had significantly lost weight at first I was glad but then I realized she was underweight. I checked the calories and they’re extremely low and the food is kind of pricey. I decided to switch to diamond naturals because I have three cats and I needed a food more affordable and something that would put weight back on her. Today I mixed the diamond naturals in with her current canidae to start the switch and she picked out all of the diamond naturals and ate every single last piece of it. I’m so happy she loves it and so glad she is eating her food again.
I’ve fed this food to my hedgies for many many years and they always do great on it! (Cat food is better for hedgies vs hedgehog food!)

I am desperately trying to find a food that works as well as the Royal Canin Gastrointestinal, due to expense and unavailability. My cats are super picky and have issues with vomiting and constipation. I researched and found this food. I have been mixing it in with what I have, and they expertly eat every piece of the other food leaving all of this in their bowl. I do not understand why they wont eat it. In the food's defense, they wont even eat salmon! I will keep trying. I think they are accidentally eating some as time goes by, and there has not been any vomiting and the stools look more "normal". Still keeping my fingers crossed. The ingredients are good and it is a great value! Half of what the RC costs and more than twice the amount in the bag.

I feed both my cat and dog diamond naturals and I have no complaints. They both have soft fur and healthy digestive systems. I appreciate the probiotics and superfood in this blend.
Very Happy with This Food
Switched to this food due to possible corn allergies of previous food. Cats were throwing up regularly with that food (hairballs and no hairballs). This food, with Ground Miscanthus Grass replacing previously used cellulose, is an excellent choice now. I never felt comfortable feeding animals cellulose.
