Feeding Instructions

Daily Feeding (cans):

Weight (lbs)5 lbs10 lbs15 lbs
When feeding canned food only3/41 1/22 1/4

Kittens: Feed up to two times the recommended adult feeding amount to kittens.

Feed according to the age, size and activity level of your cat. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Keep fresh water available at all times.

Transition Instructions

Some pets may have sensitive stomachs and could potentially experience digestive upset from a sudden diet change. Because of this, we recommend making a gradual transition between foods. Begin with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the new food mixed with 75% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet. Feed this blend for 2-3 days and then change the mix to 50% of each for 2-3 days. Then feed 75% of the recommended daily portion of the new food with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet for a final 2-3 days before fully switching.

Cats can be funny about diet changes. Watch closely to be sure that your cat is eating during the transition. We recommend that you put two bowls of food out - one for the new food and one for the old - so that you can closely monitor how much of each is being consumed.

My cats do not like it

    By on

I am still giving it to them, every Saturday. I have six cats and I put 2 cans out, it takes for them more than 24 hours to kind of finish it, which is not normal since they are really good eaters.

    Foster kitties love it

    By on

I started my foster kitties on wet food to transition them off momma and onto dry food, and I was buying a more expensive food and it was getting quite pricey. I switched to this to save some money while still giving them high quality kitten food, and they love it. Although they are fully on dry food now, they still get a little every day as a treat. They know it’s coming and fight for control of the bowl each time!

Picky cat likes it, and it's super healthy

    By on

Our cat Bear who only eats Tikki Cat will readily eat the Naturals Chicken Dinner pate (but not the other Naturals canned foods, oddly). Reading the ingredients it looks super-healthy, if the apocalypse happens my husband and I might even try it, ha!

    Not a favorite

    By on

I have a variety of ages and taste buds but my 7 guys aren’t enjoying this. My feral kitties are thanking me! No idea why they’re not eating it; I asked but none are giving up their reasons.

    Not for my kittys

    By on

It looked and smelled fine, but my 3 cats did not want to eat it. I did mix it with 2 cans of there blue buffalo and most of the time that worked. But obviously I wont buy it again.

5 out of 8 love it!

    By on

That's right, I'm feeding 8 of those loveable felines. Some of them like canned food and others don't. But of the 6 that do, 5 love this and gobble it down. I just started on this, so the others may get used to it over time. What inspires me to give a '4' instead of a '3' though, is the ingredients. It may not be fresh to plate, but the ingredients list is better than most.

    Happy Kitties

    By on

My 3 kitties were eating Petcos brand Whole Hearted and I was reading up on ingredients amd found alot contain tapioca starch which isn't good for them. So then i found this brand. Ingredient list is soooo simple and not all crazy to read. Got here in 2 days and fed them and they all went running for it. Gobbled it all up! Which is crazy cause the one older one is super picky about his food. Happy to say he was eager to eat it up. All paws up from 3 very happy kitties!
