See Details for instructions to redeem.Frisco Multi-Cat Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter is made of natural clay that forms hard clumps for easy scooping. The granules create a powerful bond to lock in moisture and prevent any liquid from getting to the bottom of the litter box. This litter is specially formulated to neutralize odors quickly and is low tracking, so there’s less mess and no scattered litter trails. It’s hypo-allergenic to common allergens such as dust, plant proteins and fragrances. Frisco Multi-Cat is the pet-preferred, heavy-duty litter that’s ideal for sifting and mechanical boxes, and is highly effective in multiple-cat households.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

I loved the idea of absorbent litter for the ease of cleanup. I tried this litter when another absorbent type I used became expensive. The first couple of bags were ok with this brand, but they must’ve have had a formula change. It became less absorbent and had to be switched after just a couple of weeks. It has so much dust too that everything in facility would be covered in a layer of fine dust. A cloud of dust would form each time it had to be dumped and refreshed by both the old and new litter.
just finished my first bag of this stuff and i gotta say, it really does have less dust + manages odors well. i clean my kitties’ boxes daily, but missed one day this week and couldn’t tell a difference in odor which almost made me forget to clean them again! the only thing i hate is the small pieces, since one of my cats is prone to getting things in his eye/having eye infections.
Do not buy if you're expecting a clumping formula. This new litter partially clumps then leaves urine soaked, loose litter in the box - photo is from one day after fresh litter was put into the litter box. I had to throw all the litter out after 3 days. The old formula clumped really well, it's too bad Frisco changed it. I won't be buying this litter again.
Although the description for this litter states that dust will still be present (but reduced) as it’s natural, I didn’t expect it to be this dusty. Even more so when you’re pouring the litter onto the litter box or another container. It also leaves this residue on my cats little toe beans, which can cause some drying of the beans. The clumping (compared to arm and hammer litter) is great. This still tracks, though. Especially if you have a plastic litter box, and your cat likes peeing on the corners, it’ll still get stuck. I’d give this litter two stars, but considering the amount you get for the price it’s good enough for when money is tight and only because of that (and the good clumping) would I recommend it. Overall, I suggest looking for another type of litter.
My cat loves the litter my only complaint is that in shipping the bag had a tear on the seam and leaked inside the box. When I took the box to outside I was left with cat litter on my floor to clean up. I would suggest that when a box has multiple items wrap or secure the litter so other shoppers don't have and additional mess to clean up.
Always buy this clay; never the one with baking soda. It doesn't clump well and turns to sludge. They gave me 10 free bags but it still sucked. They say it's the same formula but the chemist must have been asleep at the switch. The clay is way way better and lasts much longer. I can't detect it's any worse oder.
I have been using this litter for years and it has worked well for our multi-cat home. We clean our boxes twice a day. Recently, we have found that the dust has increased and the litter turns a dark color and does not clump well at all. I will no longer purchase this litter.
I've been a long time user of Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter, but I decided to give Frisco a chance, considering the cost was a bit cheaper than my usual. While I can say it appears that the litter doesn't track as much as Dr. Elsey's, it is far dustier. When cleaning the litter box I have these giant puffs of dust happening, which happened rarely with the other brand. I also have darker wood floors and basically once the cats leave the litter box and step on to the dark floors they leave their paw prints from the dust for about 10 ft from the area I have the boxes. Again this rarely happened with the other brand. So I'll be switching back. I guess you get what you pay for.
I bought a bag of Frisco Unscented Odor Defense Clumping Clay Cat Litter and was happy with its clumping ability and minimal dust. I decided to try 5 bags of this particular one thinking they wouldn't be that different. What a huge mistake. It is pure dust clouds. Their litter boxes and surrounding furniture are covered with a layer of dust; furthermore, the clump falls apart when scooping. What a mess and what a disappointment! I'd love to return them but feel bad for Chewy having to pay for 2 way shipping. Chewy, you got do better than this!!! We are depending on you!
The product is excellent and priced well. However, I can no longer manage the heavy bag as I have to haul it up a flight of stairs and it's just not possible. I will probably see how the lightweight unscented works and lasts. I tried it some time ago and it tracked really bad. I hope it's improved.
