My 2 lovebirds really enjoy playing with this. They took to it right away. They pulled a string of rings off of it already and I had it only 10 days so far!
This is a fun exploration and exercize mat for a bird's mind and body with lots of interesting things to play with and chew on. You can connect several to make it a larger size and hang them inside and outside of the cage or on a wall or doorway. It seems to be bird safe and my Greencheek Conure loves it.
My small birds love these sea grass walls. It took the cockatiel years to finally figure out what fun it is. The parakeets took to it right away.
My sun conure is a fan. I keep this in her smaller travel/night cage, and she is constantly climbing up and down it, nibbling the wood, and making happy content birb noises. Got this on a BOGO sale and it was sooo worth it.
1 - this thing is huge! So much bigger than I was expecting 2 - short lived. My IRN completely annihilated it in one day. Short version - bird approved. really really approved
My African Grey loves it!! I'm getting ready to order another 3 - for my Amazon, my Blue & Gold Macaw and my Senegal.
I don't recommend birds playing with plastic toys, wood is best. But a little is okay. This had a TON of little plastic rings on it. Perfect size for a budgie to get their head stuck. And if they didn't get their head stuck they might swallow some of it! The little rings broke very easily, but not easy enough I would say they could just break it if they were stuck. I just broke all of the rings off myself (I had a whole handful) and there are only some bigger pieces of plastic, which doesn't bother me too much. Otherwise, great for hanging outside the cage or on the wall, wherever you want your bird to play outside the cage. You could even just take all of the toys off that it came with and attach your own.
I bought this for my Indian ringneck. Once he got explored it, it provided days worth of entertainment for him
Has lasted a month now and kept her busy! She climbs on it and chewed off beads first. Easy to hang, and rehang after she chewed edges off. Still haven’t become bored with it. A good price for a fun easy to hang safe toy. I’m happy with this purchase and may buy another one. My lesser sulfur crested cockatoo is very destructive and hard too find toys I can afford, this one has made miss Madonna very happy.
She plays with it all the time need to buy another one soon.
