Wish it was bigger....

When I brought this a while back, it was meant for one of my conures. As I was cleaning cages & swapping out everyones toys, my bare-eyed cockatoo, Artie, immediately

When I brought this a while back, it was meant for one of my conures. As I was cleaning cages & swapping out everyones toys, my bare-eyed cockatoo, Artie, immediately fell in love with it & claimed it as her own before I was able to put it in Gilberts cage. Normally, a toy this size wouldn't survive long once Artie sets her sights on it & would be utterly destroyed within a day....two if you're lucky. To my surprise, she's been very careful not to completely destroy this one. She was pretty hard on it at first but once it started coming apart, to my surprise & amusement, she started playing more gently with it & if/when a piece breaks off, she climbs down, finds it & actually tries to put it back in place. I'll catch her running her beak over it periodically & touching each remaining piece as if she's checking to make sure it's okay. It crazy how much she loves it! I'm planning to add one or two every so often to future orders so I can be sure to stock up & have some spares for her. I'd love to see a larger version of this toy for the bigger birds at some point.
