Unfortunately, we do not have an extraction ratio for these products. We do apologize for the inconvenience. However, to give you a better idea of how Super Snouts processes the product: Super Snouts Turkey Tail is grown on fermented organic brown rice, and they use both the fruiting body as well as the mycelium in the blend. What a grower ends up with is dependent on how long and how patient, and how experienced the grower is. Some growers will, unfortunately, go for a 3-4 week harvest, where there is still a lot of the substrate (rice or oats) left and you end up with a diluted and not very potent product. Super Snouts grower is very good at watching them closely and waiting for the “window of the best opportunity” where the mushroom has consumed almost all the rice and is just on the verge of running out of its food supply, resulting in less substrate in the finished blend. The mushrooms then undergo a double steam process to break apart the cell walls to release the beta-glucans. After this process has taken place, they are dehydrated and milled into a powder. Super Snouts' end product is always a rich brown, visible proof of optimal growth and the least amount of grain.

Gave up

Willie lost the use of his tail after about a couple of weeks of use. Took him off ot and after over a week he is beginning to hold his tail up somewhat again. Coincidence?

My dog woke up one morning struggling to walk and see, and I was terrified. After taking her to the vet, they ran X-rays and an ultrasound and discovered a tennis ball sized tumor attached to her kidney. She was also constipated throughout her intestines, had cataracts, and arthritis in her lower back and hips. I was desperate to help her feel better. I remembered seeing turkey tail mushroom recommended on TikTok for dogs, so I immediately ordered it from Chewy along with GI Balance, digestive supplements, pumpkin, and probiotics. I started giving them to her twice a day, and within just a week I began to notice real improvements. Her arthritis seemed better, her eyes became clearer, and she has been moving around more comfortably. I truly believe these supplements have greatly improved her health.
