Required for glass installations. Product can be used with the SureFlap Microchip Pet Door.
Size
When mounting in glass, this accessory allows mounting in circular holes with a diameter of 11 9⁄16 inches (min) to 12 5⁄8 inches (max). The total diameter of the mounting adaptor is 15 inches. The Pet Door Mounting Adaptor includes two parts, one for the exterior and one for the interior of your home.

I also used the shipping boxes to make cat houses with a puppy bed for under the house. I can/t use the 2 inserts I bought, 1st they don't fit and 2 I did'nt need them
