Provide one block for every 10-20 head of animals. If more than one block is required, place at least 10 feet apart to allow ample spacing for consumption. Consumption should be approximately 2 to 4 ounces per head daily. If consumption is too high, move block(s) farther away from water source and high traffic areas. If consumption is too low do the opposite.
When first introducing the block consumption levels can vary considerably. Do not feed to starving animals. Consider offering some free choice salt beside the block if initial consumption is too high. This can slow down consumption long enough for the animals to balance out intake.
Always ensure there is plenty of forage available as this product has been formulated to serve as a supplement only, not a source of complete feed. Always offer plenty of fresh clean water.

This block doesn't last very long but my animals love it! Its soft enough that it doesn't wear down their teeth, which is good, but it does dissolve quickly which is a bummer. With around 20 animals using it, it lasts about 1 week.
Well, the ponies sure like the taste... but 2 mini ponies ate 1/2 this block in only 3 days. That seems perhaps unhealthy? No ill effects so far, but I took it away as that seemed excessive... They get hay and ration balancer daily too... Not sure how this is supposed to feed 10 animals for a month. Too expensive if they are going to eat it in a week.
I have this to my goats and cow and they devoured it in 3 days. I was hoping it would last longer, more for winter boredom. They thought it was just too delicious.
