Do you need to feed the larvae?

The larvae are fine unfed unless you would like to grow their size up or if you are farming them. In that case, we suggest soft banana, apple or carrot to help. But they are okay left in the container they're shipped in and without food.

How do you store them properly?

The thing I like most about these guys is they make sure to add extra feeders to make up for any potential losses during shipping. Blacksoldier fly larva are a top choice and not only sustainability, but also in nutrition, and the chameleons love them and do not become picky against them, my chameleons enjoy Black soldier fly larva every day regardless of the other variety we offer them. They never leave. Any soldier fly larva behind. This product is always in good shape when it arrives. There’s almost never any loss during shipping and the product is thriving and stays healthy for weeks arrival

Container was smashed

I received my shipment today and immediately brought them in. When I opened the box the container was busted and all the larvae were in the bottom of the box along

I received my shipment today and immediately brought them in. When I opened the box the container was busted and all the larvae were in the bottom of the box along with the dirt. Additionally, the ice pack was melted and warm. Thankfully they seem to be alive and I had a jar to place them in. Probably won't be ordering this brand again. I'll just go to my local reptile store and deal with the smaller counts.

Dead

90% were dead on arrival and the other 10% died within a few days of receiving it. Pretty bummed. They're also extremely messy and you have to wash them off before
