Nightmare Fuel

Ok so I gave these 5 stars because the worms themselves arrived as described but dang I'm going to have nightmares about opening this package. I had no idea these

Ok so I gave these 5 stars because the worms themselves arrived as described but dang I'm going to have nightmares about opening this package. I had no idea these would arrive in just a cloth bag with the huge worms wriggling around. I was scared after opening they would just be to crawl out of the opening (and they can!). Satisfied with the worms but I'd prefer not to have to move them to a different container upon arrival.

I ordered 500!!!

I ordered 500 but only got about 200. While I am extremely grateful for 99% of them being alive, I only got about 200.

Consistent worms!

We’ve ordered this 50-ct a few times and are happy with how many living worms it contains. Our leopard gecko loves these giant worms. This has been much more convenient

Great customer service

I received some mealworms that arrived dead. Chewy sent me another order free which also arrived dead. I left a bad review because of that. I didn’t ask for a refund

I received some mealworms that arrived dead. Chewy sent me another order free which also arrived dead. I left a bad review because of that. I didn’t ask for a refund or replacement the second time. Chewy contacted me about the review. They refunded my money and gave me other options to order the worms. I placed an order with a different supplier. They arrived today all heathy. I was surprised to find Chewy also replaced the worms from the original supplier free of charge and they also were reviewed healthy. I can’t say enough about the great customer service. They do stand behind their satisfaction guarantee.

Shipping was delayed a full day and they still came in alive & healthy

I was worried when my package was delayed a full day by FedEx (and then didn't arrive until 4:22 PM the next day), but when I opened up the pouch I was pleasantly

I was worried when my package was delayed a full day by FedEx (and then didn't arrive until 4:22 PM the next day), but when I opened up the pouch I was pleasantly surprised. I only found 9 dead worm (out of 250) and probably another 5 or 6 that were cannibalized in transit. This was my first mealworm order, so I don't have a basis of comparison for how big these are compared to other mealworms, but I am very happy with my purchase. Hopefully this mealworm farm will last me a long time. Thank you!

The teeny, tiny size of these mealworms.

Well, the almost-not-visible size. They were thinner spaghetti and shorter than an inchworm. I won’t be buying these again. :(

Nice, plump mealworms!

The first batch I ordered took a while, but when delivered they were fine. My 2nd order came much faster and was also fine. It's interesting to me how they "pack"

The first batch I ordered took a while, but when delivered they were fine. My 2nd order came much faster and was also fine. It's interesting to me how they "pack" the worms...I'm used to picking them up in a "deli" container from the Wild Birds Unlimited store. These came in an egg carton style container and in a sealed but breathable bag. I put them in the fridge as soon as they arrive and all but a few were alive and well. I am now attracting oriels to the worm feeder! Happy bird lady.

Absolutely amazed out of 250 only 4 were dead. They were actually the giant size not just large as most other companies. Definitely will be setting up auto ship
