Feeding Instructions
Administer one scoop twice daily by top-dressing feed or by dose syringe. Some horses my need oral dosing by syringe for a few days until appetite returns.

Relief for Equine Colic
I was very impressed with this product! SynNutra Equine GastroMend XC was easy to feed my mare as I simply mixed it with her pellets and she found it to be pleasant
I was very impressed with this product! SynNutra Equine GastroMend XC was easy to feed my mare as I simply mixed it with her pellets and she found it to be pleasant and did not object to eating it. I noticed results almost immediately and definitely within the first day of her consuming it. I didn’t give it twice daily as recommended but rather once a day and still saw the improvement. Less abdominal bloating and her feces was in a more digested form, without the excess water or fragile and crumbly state that was previously observed. They soon returned to her healthy firm but not hard “horse apples” I have come to appreciate and also find so much easier to rake up when I “muck the yard”. Thank you so much for this effective and gentle supplement!

I have been using GastroMend for my 16 year old quarter horse who was having some digestive issues and showing signs of stress due to change in living situation. She has since been doing much better and I feel that the gastro mend has helped to prevent ulcers and improve her digestion. The only downside is the powder is extremely fine and while that helps with mixing it int grain, it gets everywhere and turns and orange color and is very difficult to clean up.

I got this GastroMend Product for a young horse who is returning from a Trainer where he has been in "bootcamp" for a few weeks. Traveling long distance to/from the trainer and working under a little more pressure than he has been used to has been a little stressful for him and he has backed off a bit on his eating. I am using this product to help his guts settle a bit and help him relax. So, I am using it at the very first sign of potentially more serious gastro-issues, pro-actively. It seems to be doing the trick. The bag is small but my guess is that I will not have to purchase additional supply, unless I decide to keep this gelding on it for a little longer. This product seems to be fairly palatable sprinkled in with grain, but can also be made into a liquid/thin paste, and be administered orally if your horse is too picky and does not like the taste. There are a lot of similar products for this purpose out there. Give this one a try. It's a good one.

I bought a mini mule gelding earlier this summer who had been bounced around a few sale barn auctions and ended up with a last chance horse trader to find a home before shipping to slaughter. All equines are very vulnerable to ulcers and I wanted a product to help prevent/ treat any potential ulcers from the stress of the auction environments and lengthy transports Norman endured. This product came highly reviewed/ recommended in my horse wellness & nutrition Facebook groups and I can say I am quite pleased. The supplement arrived promptly, the packaging is high quality with clear instructions and is very easy to dose and use. Norman found it very palatable and ate it top dressed on his ration balancer without any issues. He looks and feels great! Very happy and would purchase again.

My horse has a very sensitive digestive system and she’s always needing extra support to help the presentation of diarrhea or worse. This product has proven to be great for her overall gut health. She’s not a picky eater so I was able to scoop it into her daily grain and she eats it with no qualms. The product is made in the USA which makes it feel trusted and full of healthy ingredients. It’s backed by veterinarians so I trust feeding it to my horse knowing it’s only helping her. The product is a fine powder. It seems to work great and I really like all the ingredients. It doesn’t have fillers or other junk that isn’t good for the horse.

I have a senior quarter horse that every time he is in his box stall over night, he gets loose poop. Sometimes it is so bad that it runs down his back legs and then he requires a bath. The vet says that he has a nervous stomach. I gave him the scooper of GastroMendXC twice a day on his feed, but he wouldn't eat it. I ended up mixing it with apple sauce. It definetely helped his loose stool while in his box stall. It did not cure the problem completely, but the stool was not as watery and his behind did not get messy. I recommend trying this product. It does make a difference.

The full healing process for gastric ulcers can take up to 30 days or longer. Within the first week you may notice reduced signs of pain. My mare has been on the product for 12 days. Her appetite had not been a problem but she has been abnormally grumpy and girthy and that is why I wanted to try Gastric Mend XC. I would say that she has been less grumpy which would indicate she may have received pain relief from the product. I am still testing other possibilities for the attitude change, saddle fit, body work, etc.

This product is one of its kind. I have not come across a product for ulcer management that you can see results in such a short period of time. Time and time again I see that the company Chewy aims and continues to be on the forefront of new and exceptional products. My horse has severe stress, anxiety, and ulcers. The fact that I was able to use this product in conjunction with the acid reducer enabled the synergistic effect and produced the positive outcomes so rapidly. I feel so lucky that I was able to come in contact with this product. And as a result, be able to treat and manage the stress ulcers of my pet. I’ve wasted so much money on other products that do not work as well as this. I feel so fortunate to have found this product and would definitely tell others about its positive effects.

I’ve notice she is more calm since on this supplement. I think it’s the combination of the pain management and ingredients that help repair the stomach lining! It’s a great easy to feed, fine powder.
