Watch the pricing
This review is not about the product. My cats LOVE the product and when they hear the container opening they all come running. My review is about the price of the 16oz BAGS versus the 16oz TUB. The tubs are priced at $7.98 whereas the bags are priced twice that amount at $14.78. I spoke to 3 customer service agents that gave me different answers and then I contacted Mars that makes the product. They told me that on their end that $14.78 price was for a 2-pack. But going back to the 3rd Chewy service rep I was told that all the 16oz flavors for the Temptation BAGS are the $14.78 price. The 16oz 2 bag bundle was over $28.00. I’m all for a company turning a profit but doubling the price is excessive. For now on I will be buying the tubs and not the bags.
Peanut Butter Box is Here!
My 3 cats know the UPS truck brings them treaties, so I always sing to them "The Peanut Butter Box is Here!" I have tried alot of treats for my cats and these Temptations are what they ask for. My one cat will stand at the fridge and beg for treaties. I keep them in the fridge or they find them and tear them open!
I, personally, have not tasted the treats. However, I have three Kitty-Kids, (Gabby, Frankie, and Muchacha), and it's obvious that Frankie prefers Temptations, Chicken. It's equally obvious that Gabby prefers Temptations, Dairy. My most recent rescue, Muchacha, is not picky; she likes the Dairy and Chicken. Every month or so, I purchase a different flavor to see if their tastes have change. They appear to appreciate the diversion but ALWAYS return to their favorites: DAIRY and CHICKEN.
Once my fur-kids discovered Tempations chicken it was all over. Most still free feed, but I have two that will only do this Kitty Crack. Hope it doesn't become a controlled substance. 48 oz is nice but I'm waiting for the 13 pound bag. I haven't gotten hungry enough but who knows these days. My 6 cats highly recommend Temptations.
Love at first shake
For many, many years and many, many cats, I have not had one who didn't love Temptation treats. Shake the bag or open the canister and they came running. Other brands may be a bit cheaper but they aren't received nearly as well - usually rejected. My new rescue even knows the sound and does circles and meows for them until I put some on her mat.
Haven't opened this container yet, but it's so much easier than struggling with self opening and closing the bags. Cats already recognize the sound of the treat box opening and quick to count out the number of nuggets they get at one time...
More Than Tempting
I have never seen Temptations cat treats in the 'Value' size until shopping with Chewy. With prices going up on everything in grocery stores, it's more than nice to find a real savings I know my cats already like. Thanks again, Chewy.
Commercials are true
When the commercial shows cats running when you shake the bag its no joke... my cats love these treats and even came running back when 1 got outside... will always buy this for my kitties
Our cats love these
Both of our cats are almost seventeen years old and they’ve both always eaten the same dry cat chow. Just recently one of them stopped eating altogether so I put some of these down to cajole her to eat. Now it’s all she eats. I was surprised and relieved to read on the bag that these can be fed as regular food. Who knew?! Yay!
All my cats love this treat. They will eat these when they won't eat their regular food. Because of calories I only feed a few and only as a bedtime snack. If one of them is not interested, I know there is a possible vet visit in our future.
