Can this be submersed in the tank water or do I need to leave some room up top?

This light attaches to the top frame of your tank. Typically, you clip them on the front of the tank, and they will be hidden from view, under the frame. Push the clips on at an angle, rather than straight on.
is 2 enough for a 20 gallon tank

Fantastic Blue Lights

I am so happy that I purchased three GloFish lights for my two tanks. They are extremely blue when my regular lights go off and come on with a timer. My tanks and the fresh water Glow Fish colors really pop. I purchased three and only use two and kept one for a spare. Anyone who purchases these lights will not be unhappy with the performance.
