Should I clean my tank before use? Or should I use it and then clean the tank?
Answer by • Apr 13, 2019
For aquariums 40 gallons or larger, and for soft water and/or acid water with low alkalinity, dissolve tablets before adding to aquarium. Use Tetra test strips to monitor pH and alkalinity levels and remove carbon from filter during use. If ick persists, treat every 24 hours until it clears. You should change 25% of the water before adding any new dose, add Tetra Aquasafe to all tap water.

How can you tell when the ich has cleared?
Answer by • Oct 06, 2022
Ick is a parasite with a 7 day life cycle. It causes small white dots on fish. The consumer should do a small water change once a day and add the proper dose of Ick Guard until all spots are gone. The fish will resume normal eating and appearance and will not longer sport spots all over it.
