Will this work for tubing on my Fx6 canister filter?

This pond tubing is compatible with pumps, bio-filters, UV clarifiers, waterfall filters and other products for your water garden. It measures 20 feet long and 1 ¼ inch in diameter.

Not as advertised

Had an emergency situation with my koi pond and needed a new hose from the pump to the filter box. The inside diameter needed to be 1.25. I could not fine one anywhere but lo and behold Chewy.com carried one with the 1.25 IDthat I needed. Chewy had it delivered to me very quickly but the ID was less than 1.25 making installation of the hose very difficult. I am grateful to chewy for such fast service, but the product was not as advertised.

Doesn't fit with pump

I ordered this go with the Tetra UV clarifier that Chewy sells. The clarifier requires a pump to get the pond water into the clarifier unit. I could not find a pump that required a tubing this size, they are typically much smaller. So I ended up not using this tubing. I rated four stars because the tubing does look to be a quality tubing, just not right for this clarifier.

blow it out your ears

Needed to replace tubing for my windshield defroster side vents. The old were cardboard and deteriorated from water. This works great and you can feel the air blow out your ears. Hence the headline. Go fish.

Review for my 1 1/4 pond tubing that I just purchased.

I was very surprised to find that the quality of the tubing is so thin. I bought Tetra tubing before, and it was never so thin in fact because it is so thin it was easily applied to my pump and filter fittings. I have been checking every day to make sure that it has not sprung a leak. I can't believe that the Tetra company is making this tubing so cheaply.

You get what you pay for.

Flimsy, thin-walled but will do the trick. Not for exterior waterfalls and other water features but for the price it’s a good product.

Tetra Pond Tubing

The original tubing burst after a few days of use. CHEWY did a great job quickly replacing it and so far so good. This is a thumbs up for CHEWY as opposed to the tubing.

Temporary Solution Only

Upon finding a great deal on a new pump, I decided to try using this tubing. I immediately noticed an increase in my daily water loss rate. Came home from work yesterday to see that the leak in the tubing had gotten so bad I lost almost 18 inches of water in a day.
