          The product information states that the Tetra-1000 comes with 2 adapters, a 1/2" and a 3/4". However, I want to know the size of the tube that would attach to the pump without any adapter. I don't see any reference to the original size.

          An adapter must be used with this pump.

          Does this pump require a pre-filter?

          This pump does not have to have a pre-filter although if it sits on the bottom of the pond it is recommend to have a pre-filter to keep it from clogging.

          Read pamphlet

          Stronger pump. But wouldnt connect to tetra pump that I got for a pond. Was too powerful for the fountain connectoon scared all the fish. Needs a filter connected
