Three Dog Bakery Birthday Confetti Lick’n Crunch Cookie Puppy Treats, 13-oz box

Bought this as my dog loves the cookies from this brand and bought them for her upcoming birthday. And the condition that it came in was just a piece of packing paper on top and everything just tossed in the box. So during transport the box to these cookies became damaged. Why doesn't chewy packing department do a better job packaging the items into the box? 9/10 times I end up receiving a damaged, leaking, or broken delivery. A piece of paper on top does nothing to protect the items. The items themselves need to be cushioned or wrapped with more packing paper as well as liquids and glass in bags. If this was a store they would have to place this damged item for a percentage off and call it a loss, yet your delivering these items where they can easily get damaged because the job isn't done correctly in the first place. I had to open the box to see if anything was broken inside and thankfully not, but do you think a person wants damaged goods? And it doesn't matter if you separate orders, a representative puts a note for more protection, etc. It all gets ignored by the packing department. Chewy says it's because they're trying to lessen waste, but it's more wasteful having to deal with a return/exchange because you spend more gas and supplies shipping and then replacing. And then as well now you have a damaged item which is wasteful as well. You want to lessen waste, then do a better job packaging. How would you like this delivered to you.

My dog LOVES them! He first had them at a neighbor's house and then I got them for his birthday to share with all the dogs in the neighborhood.

Although not overly fond of any treats, these are probably Barney's favorites, and work well to give him when I'm eating a human cookie.
