My dog gets one after eating every meals and is very unhappy when we run out

I live in Mexico where we have a lot of street dogs and a pack of 5 live right outside of my home. The Mexican culture doesn’t traditionally treat dogs as family (although this is changing) and use them as guard dogs, living behind chain link fences 24/7 with little attention. In my dog walking bag, I always carry a baggie of dog food for the starving ones I find and a baggy of cookies to give to the other dogs we encounter on our walks, along with some petting, scritches, and love. Many of the dogs would bark aggressively at us initially but, after getting a cookie, they now greet us with wagging tails and give kisses in return after their cookie. My 6 yr old, little 11# pup, a rescue found wondering the streets in the US at 1 yr old, decides every night which dogs we visit and turns his back on us when I’m giving love and attention to them. It’s as if he, unselfishly, is giving the dogs private time with me because he feels they need the attention. We have 16 dogs on our regular list but almost every night we encounter a new one. So, we go through a lot of cookies! Guess I need to get a subscription for these as they’re not available here.

i have to admit - these cookies are good! they smell amazing and taste great. i am trying to sneak them out or the bag so that i can eat them. yes, i grew up trying Milk bones, no comparison to these -you could market them for people they are that good - not sweet but spiced well. the Cinnamutt's are equally tasty and we are fighting over them as well. i wouldn't be surprised if he hates my eating his yummies!

I bought these for the first time a few months ago, and there were definitely 3 different treats. I re-purchased 2 bags last month and have only opened one of the bags, but they are all basically the same flavor. there were literally only 4 of the vanilla flavor in the entire bag. most of the rest are the oat, and then a handful of the peanut butter. my dogs will eat them at least, but I would never have purchase a bag of oat treats for them, which is what I essentially received with the first bag and expect what the second bag will also yield. disappointing, and will be removing these from auto-ship.
