My cat loves it! She doesn’t really scratch on it too much but she loves hangin out in there! I think if you have a larger cat it might be a lil too small but my girl loves it! Definitely recommend if your cat likes cardboard scratchers and it’s an amazing cheep cat hangout spot
This cardboard house is so much nicer than the cheapo thin-walled ones that my cats quickly destroy. For one, it's actually easier and faster to install than the cheap ones that have a million tabs. It also comes with cardboard pieces that serve as anchors to prevent the walls from coming apart. I love that it comes with a few toys that you can mix and match, with extra cardboard pieces to secure them. They really thought of everything. My cats love to chew on cardboard so I know they'll inevitably destroy it, but it's definitely going to last longer than the cheapo ones and I will repurchase this. My cat immediately crawled inside and refuses to come out. My cats are about 9 lbs and not quite fully grown, so I can see this being a little too small for a chonker.
It was easy to put together, but regretfully the toys that you attach to it were all missing, therefore only 4 stars instead of 5. :-( Even though I was very disappointed, because I know that my girl would have loved the toy you attach on the top (spiral), I won't worry about it since the house itself is well made. Maybe I can find something to attach, or even find replacement toys for these types of houses. luckily my girl doesn't know the difference, or I am sure she would pester me about the toys missing. lol I would definitely recommend this house. It's a nice size where it's not too small, or too big.... though we all know better too big, then too small. The cardboard inserts are nice thickness, nothing skimpy about them.
I just received this today. Our cats love it. It seems pretty sturdy. The little cubby is roomy but cozy. I think they will get a lot of use out of this.
Great sturdy condo for my bunnies. They love it! Cute addition to their bunnyville town (LOL) Highly recommend
This condo is easy to assemble and made really well. Unfortunately, my cats won't use the condo part- it's not long enough for them to lay in it. But, they like using the scratch pad on the roof. I recommend it for a kitten or smaller cat.
I’ve gotten several of the more decorative cardboard cat houses before and this one is so much better made and very sturdy. I also like that they provide extra hanging toys for when your cat inevitably destroys the first one. My cat loved it so much she had to climb into it while I was still assembling it!
Finally, a product that interlocks and stays together without you having to put tons of tape down the sides where the tabs are. I got the tape and glue ready to put this together as I do with the other products I have in the past. We all know how the tabs slide out and the cat comes crashing down, Not with Tiger tough. I will only buy their products from this point on. Well made and worth the price points.
This is very well made, love it for that, but I have a big boy and he hangs over the sides on the top and doesn’t fit inside. He’s about 15-17 pounds, very muscular, formerly an outside feral that didn’t want to be. He loves to hide inside things and loves cardboard scratchers, but I have yet to find one that is big enough and sturdy enough. Not all cats weigh 8 pounds and I wish manufacturers would wake up to that fact. He’s a baby bear looking for a pony house.
I put it together this afternoon, and this cat is practically living on it now!
