No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
I bought this townhouse for my bunnies and they just love jumping/climbing and don’t forget chewing on it. It’s nice and sturdy no print on the cardboard which I feel is better since my buns love to chew. Highly recommend
My cat likes this house; he'll snuggle up in both levels of the house comfortably (he's 10lbs). However, it causes a mess more than the "small businesses" (other scratcher houses) because the angled scratching pad has nowhere to catch the cardboard bits other than my floor. I also don't like that it doesn't have replacement scratchers. It was moderately easy to put together once I got the hang of the instructions.
Not very durable, we put it together and it keeps falling apart, wouldn’t purchase again
My cats live this stupid thing lol. They play in it CONSTANTLY. Even when it started to fall apart (after a year of constant use and being kicked bc it’s in a doorway) they refuse to let me break it down. They continue to use it, half broken. I tried to take it apart and put it in the pile for recycling and my one histrionic cat draped himself all over it and screamed at me so I couldn’t take it away. Personally I love that I could recycle it… if they’d ever give it up. And I love that it comes flat and can be easily dismantled if I ever need to put it away (as if they’d ever let me). I’m probably just going to order like 50 so they will always have one and the drama king will never be without it.
Bought in August and already looking to replace it in November. It was easy to put together and my cats liked it but 2 of my cats are over the 15lb mark and while the fit it was obviously not made for cats over 12lbs. The front scratcher has been dead for a month with no replacement.
I have 6 cats and they all love it. They like the front scratching pad. Some of them like to hide inside. I used zip ties to keep the flaps down, my only complaint is the flaps.
I saw all the pieces and was a little worried about assembling this, but it was very easy- got it on the first try following the printed instructions. My cat Violet helped by sitting on all the pieces while I was assembling. Violet tested, Violet approved!
My cats could not wait to get in and play ! They were ( surprisingly) “unavailable” for assembly , but showed up once it was complete. They love the 2 stories and many entries. Can’t wait to decorate !
My 2 cats FAVORITE toys are the cheap cardboard scratchers. I’ve bought a couple sort of like this in the past from local retail stores that definitely sufficed, but only lasted a few months maximum.. they’re always quite a bit smaller & pretty flimsy.. this one is SO sturdy & SO BIG!!!! It’s 2 levels!!! Fairly easy to put together. Both my kitties (8yrs & 18yrs) LOVE it. They nap in it, scratch it ALL the time, sometimes one will nap in the lower level while the other naps in the upper - so cute. Little bunk beds. Overall I absolutely will not ever be buying scratchers like this from my local retailers & will continue to buy this brand off of Chewy. Me, & my cats, are OBSESSED
Well, it was a little hard to put together all by myself but I did it and it is very sturdy. I put the 3 scratch pads in the bottom and sprinkled some of the catnip in there and she loves it...she kinda ends up pushing it around on the Linoleum but it's ok. She hasn't ventured into the top floor yet but likes the bottom floor. I just today sprinkled some of the catnip on the scratchpad on the front slant so we'll see if she finds that next.
