Our human products formulated for your cats and dogs are made with higher human food safety standards than current U.S. food safety standards today.Manufacturers of canned pet foods within the U.S.A. may work with some human grade ingredients, however their cannery lines are never exclusively human grade and their long list of material sourcing sets a lower standard of quality control than we have been willing to forgo.Our foods are produced in award winning human-grade canning plants in the country of Thailand. In fact, we are utilizing a canning plant that is the #1 most sophisticated, state - of - the - art plant in the country. Our supplier relationship spans over fourteen years.

All Tiki ingredients are USDA certified for Human consumption. All formulas are manufactured in a human food - grade factory and only utilize fresh, food - grade raw materials.

International Seafood Sustainability Foundation. Our Fishery is a member of ISSF, supporting all initiatives to protect our oceans from pollution and damage to our marine environment. We only supply sustainable seafood proteins and conduct our operation under strict environmental fishing practices.

US Managed?

Although our products are manufactured outside the US, the company is owned and operated here. The US Department of Commerce has registered Petropics Gourmet Whole Foods as a US company and promotes us at international shows and trade events. Manufacturing only represents 15% of our trade, with 85% of our business trading within the US.

We follow the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch “Best Choice” guidelines to ensure seafood sustainability, food safety, and protection of our ocean’s ecosystem. Our Tuna, Sardines, & Mackerel are well stocked wild catch seafood products on the market today.

CIAT/IATTC Dolphin Safe Certification?

Our seafood is caught from our own fishing vessels in the South Pacific - where mercury levels and pollutants are at their lowest possible levels. Our Tuna is caught with short line rods (which catch smaller, younger fish) to eliminate concerns of mercury. We never use nets for sardines that drag on the ocean’s floor and harm the ecosystem. We never place dolphins in danger.

We are certified by the top human food safety organizations in the world. All ingredients are tested for pesticides, pathogens, heavy metals, antibiotics and other contaminants prior to processing.
